We saw this was available and matched up with our planned cruise so booked on the spur of the moment. We managed to get the same cabin however we were upgraded to a mini suite at the last minute for this short time. Getting onto the ship was easy in Sydney, the train takes you directly from the airport to Circular Quay where the ship docks. Smooth boarding. COVID safe, masks inside at all times ...

First cruise since Pandemic. First cruise with Princess. Boarding at OPT, Sydney extremely efficient. Despite being lowest level of loyalty, on board within 15mins and rooms were ready at 12.45. Guarantee balcony cabin. Assigned A632 AFT cabin on Aloha deck. Cabin very nice. Great view from balcony. Queen bed extremely comfy. Plenty of space. Desk & chair but no couch. Balcony had two ...

Well, we had our second cruise on Coral Princess and our third. (don't worry the 2 cruises totalled 5 nights) We were hoping to see some improvements to our last trip in August. However, it was ground hog day. Still couldn't book a specialty restaurant as they were booked out way in advance. On the August cruise the pools were heated to a nice temperature but on this one they were freezing. ...

We have been cruising for many years on some great ships, some okay ships,a few not so good ships and now on a ship that was not ready to sail after covid. We took this cruise to Hawaii as our lifetime dream cruise to Hawaii for our retirement,45th anniversary and wifes 66th birthday, but Princess destroyed that experience and don't want to take responsibility for the overwelming amount of problems ...

Lovely cruise but ship needs work

We chose this cruise for our honeymoon to Hawaii from LA. The crew were absolutely wonderful and couldn't have done enough for us. The entertainment was very good but I felt there were too much reliance on singers rather than varied performances and everything shut down at 11pm. We mostly did the trivia and game shows which were excellent. The medallion was a fantastic addition! Embarkation and ...

Some good news and some bad news.....

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Grand Princess

We chose this repositioning cruise because we needed to catch up with friends in Australia that decided to fly and the dates matched. It's an old ship, renovated about 10 years ago, and considering that it's in great shape. The service attitude of the staff is impressive, the food is hovering between good and great, with the buffet having essentially been sacrificed on the altar of Covid. ...

Being my first cruise post covid lock down, and our very first princess cruise, I had very high expectations. I have only previously sailed with Royal Caribbean and found the 12 night Queensland cruise and its ports on offer from princess very appealing. Once we boarded the Coral princess the high standards of its crew started to show. The crew were always very happy to see and greet you as ...

We have just completed 21 day trans pacific LA to Auckland and had a great time onboard this beautiful ship. The food in the main dining rooms and the cafe was excellent and the service throughout the ship was some of the best we have had with all the staff being friendly and efficient and really out to impress and make us feel welcome. The ship was spotless throughout and constantly being cleaned ...

Booked this cruise months ago when the booking re opened here in Australia. Wish I had booked something longer as just settled in and then off again. 3 Nights way too short. The embarkation process was a breeze, much easier and faster than ever before. The crew were so welcoming and glass to be back. The ship was immaculately clean and empty. Only about 70% booked so easy to get a seat by ...

First time Princess - not disappointed

Our first cruise post - covid, and with a new cruise line for us. We really didn't pick Princess, it picked us, at it fit within our travel plans to QLD. That said we were very excited to try Princess, and we have a couple of Elite Princess friends. Starting at the beginning, the embarkation process was a breeze at Brisbane (the trip to the terminal though is less inspiring). The only thing to ...
