We are a couple in our early forties and chose this cruise for two reasons. Firstly, we had taken a cruise with P&O two years ago which was particularly average. Secondly, we felt that Princess did not actively encourage children due to its lack of giant water slides and variety of kids' clubs. We booked a suite (B104 - Mallorca Suite), which turned out very nice indeed. The suite comprised a lounge, a bedroom and a bathroom which had a bath with shower above, rather than a stand-up shower, which worked out better for us.

I chose princess cruises because I had cruised with them before in Alaska and enjoyed it.
