Well just back after a cruise visiting Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. Check in was relatively easy at Singapore and luggage delivered to room quickly. Balcony room on Baja floor basic but adequate. No bottles of water or bottles in room as advertised, no tea or coffee and no pictures on wall. Room attendant was fabulous and nothing was to much trouble. Bed very comfortable.

Choose this cruise due to the ports of call offered by Princess in South East Asia.
Overall we were very satisfied with this cruise. In fact we completed two back to back 10 day cruises which covered different ports of call.

We chose this cruise for the destinations. We had visited vietnam in 2004 and wanted to see how it had developed. Never visited Thailand and Indonesia. We chose this cruise for it's itinerary. It started on February 15th with a 3 day cruise from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and back, and then a second cruise from Singapore to Kota Kinabalu, 2 stops in Vietnam & 2 stops in Thailand, then back to Singapore for a total of 13 days. We travelled on the Sapphire Princess from Singapore to Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and back to Singapore.
We had a state room with a balcony. The state room was ok (3 star if comparing it to hotels). The ship had supposedly been refurbished so I was expecting more. The fridge didn't really work and was obviously very old. The sink, loo and shower were old and had lost their shine.

A new area we had not traveled. We chose Princess, because we think they are the Best. We have cruised on the Sapphire Princess before, it's a lovely ship, well maintained. A great crew and entertainment group, made this one of the best cruises we have taken. There was plenty to do on Sea Days and the food was very good. So just finished the Sapphire Princess starting from Singapore for a five night cruise.
So this was my Fifth cruise so think i am in a position to start giving my views.
So a few things.
1) No Broadway shows, very surprised. Yes they had a few things in the theatre but no big show.
