We departed from Seattle. Right from check in of baggage to embarkation, was a breeze. Ship was really clean and well maintained throughout the cruise.
We were a group of 23 including kids. All of them enjoyed the cruise. My friends balcony rooms were nice. Even my stateroom with Ocean View was good. I would say for four it was spacious. They always kept the rooms very clean. Also the aisles ...
We loved everything about our land and sea cruise with Princess! The ship was gorgeous. Our mini suite was spotless with a balcony large enough for two. The food on ship was excellent, especially Sabatini's - our favorite meal! Alfredo's pizza was also delicious. It's a very popular place for lunch so we didn't mind waiting 10 minutes. The wait staff was very professional at all dining venues. ...
This is my fourth cruise, second on Princess, and my husband's second cruise in general. My mom joined us for this cruise and it is her 6th. We chose this cruise as it was over my husband's birthday. We also have always talked about going to Alaska and the idea of going the inside passage with Glacier Bay National Park was what sealed the deal for us on this cruise. We booked all our tours through ...
Chose a connoisseur land/cruise tour based on advice from travel agent and brochures.
Amenities not as stated in the brochures.
Cruise did not meet our expectations. Length 7 days.
Embarkation and disembarkation ok until you get to lengthy customs.
Ship entertainment very sparse at best. Not as stated online and in the brochures. Only 2 short shows the whole week. Nothing for 19-21 ...
As you can see with the grades I gave in most categories, performance by crew and ship were above average. Allowing for some gaffes in food preparation, and "tendering", I still stand by my ratings---but--and of course their are some "buts"--
TENDERING:
What was baffling to me was how terrifically competent the embarcation and disembarcation process was, yet when it came to the tendering ...
Have sailed on Princess many times. This will for sure be the last one. From the embarkation, to debarkation, the entire experience was miserable, rude, and a complete joke. By second day you could only shake your head and laugh at Princess and how bad they are operating today versus where they were 23 years ago when we first sailed their line.
The ship was dirty. The hallways were filthy. ...
A TRAVEL OF REST AND RELAXATION
FORGETTING ABOUT DAY TO DAY ISSUES
Meeting great people and exploring alaska.
Seeing the ocean and being her guest.
All successes brought by this glorious ship.
Not focusing in on negatives or gotchas that can happen anywhere to anyone.
Buckets of beer: groups of beer drinkers can save by ordering buckets of beer. You get four or five beers in a ...
The ship is veru old and dated. The bathroom in the cabin was not cleaned well and smell of urine after a few days. The disembarkment was very disorganized. Staff were not available to give instructions or answer questions. The entertainment was lacking and the variety of entertainment was disappointing. The sheets and pillow cases were not changed the entired ten days of the cruise. The ...
Overall, we really enjoyed the cruise, but the disappointment in all of Princess's cutbacks in service left a bad taste. We are Platinum members and will cruise on Princess again but my wife and I agreed that we are reaching our limit on how far we will put up with Princess's cutbacks. First the good aspects which were substantial: We really like the ship. The Coral Princess is comfortable, not ...
Overall we enjoyed the cruise. Some solid entertainment, however timing was off based on your dinner seating. The food bland and unexciting. The lounge, bar and restaurant staff could not produce drinks that were not on the menu; and the drinks were also not good. All fruity with no punch. The staff (wait, buffet, bar) seemed unpersonable and disinterested. Our room (mini-suite) was a good ...
