I wanted to be away at Christmas as I had lost my wife 2 years earlier during that time. We had traveled with P & O and been loyal to their brand for over 20 Years. The standard of Food and of entertainment was abysmal and I will never travel with them again. There were so many other things wrong and so many thing’s missing when compared to previous experiences. It not acceptable to ...

Boarding was messy. No porters so had to drop our cases ourselves then queue up outside the terminal in the cold for 30mins. Cabins are only surface cleaned once a day now and no evening turndown. Our cabin had handprints on the walls, the telephone was filthy and I don’t want to think about the carpet. I have to say that there were a lot more grossly overweight, tattooed passengers who ...

Review of N233 P&O Ventura 1st Dec ’22 – 5th Jan ‘23 We paid around £14,000 for two of us in a deluxe balcony on deck 9 in D607. Was this value for money? Nowhere near!!! Cabin First impressions are so important. The cabin looked generally tired. Whilst not actually filthy, the cabin was dirty. Lots of areas had clearly not been cleaned for months. There was at least 3 months of dust on ...

Don't buy the drinks package!!!

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Azura

We bought the drinks package at huge cost, but a fab treat. by day 7 the drink choice was running out. Many of the bar staff told us they didn't have any idea when they would get more on board, and that since covid the choice of alcohol ad been very limited. We asked to cancel the package so they refunded to our on board account and then charged us for what we had left. I am still waiting ...

Hit and miss

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Azura

What a shame, Just been on 3rd and last cruise on Azura. The experience has been cost cutted too far. The prices no longer reflect value for money in my opinion. I used to love Azura but after being woken up at 5.30am by cabin on ship shuddering with side engines all draws rattling etc. Having breakfast and my eggs being "forgotten" by waiter in restaurant, only to bring them 20 ...

We sailed on this ship before covid and it was fine, however the ship has gone downhill fast. Bad bits No cruise director No orchestra Stage shows poor Lack of maintenance obvious with common areas tired and cabins clean but need a refresh, The buffet is too small and the food is probably better in prison as for breakfast they have floating scrambled eggs , brown stuff they say ...

It was as cheap and now I know why, , things have changed, no cruise Director, No backing orchestra, Food in buffet is like slop, limited choice, presentation like school dinners and the onboard bakery is manned by school children im sure as cakes are like amateurs efforts., very tired ship, paint peeling, cabins clean but tired., basically everything seem to be done on a reduced budget. Obvious ...

I have been with Azura before and have enjoyed the cruises very much. We are at the Mediterranean level of their loyalty having also been on some of their other ships. This cruise was a big disappointment. I was looking forward to it because they , before covid, had a very good vegetarian menu. Not this time. The food was not good at all, there were many people complaining about it . My ...
