We have cruised on many different lines as well as P&O. We noticed a distinct drop in both quality and service on this cruise compared to previous pre Covid P&O cruises. We have been on P&O many times but this was the worst experience that we have ever had on a cruise. It was made worse by there being no cabin available for us on arrival. Our cabin was already occupied when we tried to enter it and so we had to hang around reception for hours whilst another cabin was found. Not a great start. I picked this cruise solely for the winter sun, a fly cruise gave maximum sun time in the Canaries - and the weather was wonderful. We chose this cruise because it was seven nights and days in the sun. It was also to celebrate my birthday on New Years Eve. As we had sailed on Azura before we were familiar with the ship.
