There were 3 couples in our group and we all booked Signature suites which are spacious, well located, very well fitted and beautiful with a large balcony, shower, spa bath, twin basins and everything you could want. One couple was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a Pinnacle Suite which was absolutely spectacular and probably better than most 5 star hotel rooms.

I fell in love... kevingastreich

Great size cabin. Plent of storage space even for a long cruise. Nice big Flat Screen TV with free DVD rentals. Always stocked mini-bar (same prices as on deck too) Big verandah that got plenty of sun. Everything clean and fresh. Fresh flowers, fruit and ice constantly. The towel animals were a real hoot and we anxiously waited every night to see what was next. The dual sinks and shower areas are a real plus (the bathtub drained a little slow but no biggie) and we will always shoot for that type of cabin from now on.

Cabin 8082
Deck 8 - port side close to mid ship elevators. Convenient to dining on Lido. Room had a good sized bathroom with a shower and a tub with a shower. Double sinks. Lots of closet space and the under bed storage was large enough for my super sized luggage. Room had two desks, two chairs, a sofa, minibar, flat screen television.
Balcony large enough for four chars and a table with room left over.
Electrics all worked and the steward room nijas kept it very clean and in order. I anticipated some noise being right under the Lido restaurant but only once heard a chair being scrapped along the floor. Did not hear anything from the cabins next door while inside. Conversations on the balconies could be hear d on the balcony.

Cabin 8081 on the Navigation deck was near perfect and in great condition. It's located on the starboard side of the ship just a few cabins back from mid-ship. It is roomy and well appointed with new looking furniture, bedding, patio furniture and beautiful carpet. The bathroom is very large with double sinks, a shower and a jetted tub, both with optional hand held shower heads. The flat screen TV is on a swivel so it can be viewed from either the bed or the sitting area. There is more than ample storage space (we actually had some extra drawer and closet space and our 4 suitcases fit easily under the bed. The cabin was very quiet and only once did we hear what sounded like noise above us, which was coming from the Lido Buffet dining area but not enough to even bother us only lasting about a minute. The balcony is so spacious with plenty of room for the 2 chairs & table plus the 2 lounge chairs & side table. Didn't have any trouble with the door to the balcony sticking or locking unintentionally. We only saw our cabin steward once even though he kept it beautifully clean and supplied with fruit and fresh ice in the bucket every day. I would be very happy to travel in this cabin again if the opportunity arises.

Fantastic cabin - loads of room for the two of us. Once we unpacked we put our cases under the bed - there was plenty of cupboard space. Extremely comfortable beds with lovely linens. The bathroom was a good size - only used the jacuzzi once, but it was lovely that once! The cabin guys were fantastic and kept it very clean. To be honest, we hardly ever saw them but the room was spotless every time we got back to it. I felt very spoilt. I loved having the balcony to sit out on, get fresh air and watch the world go by. We invited other family members to join us on the balcony more than once - it fits 5 - 6 people very comfortably.

Cabin 8079 on the Oosterdam was awesome. The balcony was huge and the starboard side of the ship was just the best.

We were in cabin 8072 and had no problem. We were a few cabins away from the central bank of elevators. Although we were close to the glass elevators we never felt as if we had any privacy issues. Triple set of closet doors, plenty of storage (two drawers under bed, end table by couch, bed tables, drawers in vanity, drawers in desk) Our room had a shower stall and bathtub. We had the duvet where some lower categories didn't have the duvet covering. Balcony had four chairs, 2 ottomans and a table.

8047 - SS Superior Verandah Suite the best possible cabin configuration - plenty of room, storage and deck space for both two settees and table to two. Everything worked perfectly and room temperature easy to control. Some Lido deck chair scraping late in the afternoon when the pool area was getting cleaned up but otherwise a very quiet cabin. Would recommend the port side "even" numbered cabins for the AUS/NZ itinerary for the best port views, but our starboard was not bad in this regard. Any verandah is better than no verandah is our rule, though any cabin is the right cabin at the right price it this is what it takes to get an other cruise.

Port side location on Dec 8 (Navigation), just around the corner from the forward elevators. Roomy, well equipped, lots of closet and storage space, large bathroom, dual sinks, whirlpool tub and separate shower, Elemis toiletries, robes supplied, fridge with mini-bar, large balcony equipped with lounge chairs, ottomans and regular chairs/dining table. This room is located directly under the port side Lido deck under the area where the ping pong (table tennis) tabvles are located. This made for noisy afternoons and evenings with the sound of guests moving back and forth around the tables as they played - very annoying.

SS8052 was in great location and would be an excellent choice in this category.

Our cabin was really nice, quiet, roomy with lots of closet space, cupboard space and bathroom space. DH did find the shower to be too small, so he showered in the shower/tub combination, which I began to do, because it seemed to be difficult to get down into the tub for a bath, but remember we're 66 and 70!! Our room number was 8084 and I certainly recommend that room! We were fairly close to the glass elevators and the main elevators, so it was very centrally located and handy for anywhere you wanted to go.

This is a very nice aand large cabin...get's a little bit of daytime noise from the lido deck seaview cafe when crew is moving things around, but not too the entire ship, the cabin has a few nicks and dents that will be cleaned up during the upcoming September drydock.

8048 cabin is fine for a suite with nice verandah but so noisy, do not stay in this cabin.

Balcony very private and a large area. Stateroom a very good size with easy access to exit areas. Limited noise from other casbins. Pleased to see no ones name were on each stateroom. Chairs need replacement as badly stained and legs held together with duct tape. Lampshade very loose, bath slow to drain,

Tons of closet space, fantastic balcony, best 'on-vacation' bed I've slept on in years, great use of mirrors, nice TV, plenty of lighting choices, plenty of bathroom space, including two bathroom cabinets.

A bit noisy as it was across from the ice machine. Although it was directly below the pool it was not overly noisy. We did hear deck chairs being moved a few times. Overall a nice stateroom.

great closet space; loved the balcony- big and well equipped; good lighting; tub spa excellent only room negative and it's a big one- we were on the 8th floor, just below the lido deck and there was constant noise like scraping and banging coming from above, especially early in the morning

This cabin was a good choice for us - by luck, as it was the only available cabin in SS grade when we booked. Plenty of space in closets and drawers for clothes;very comfortable bed (smaller suitcases fit under the bed) - but TV not in the best position if you want to watch TV in bed; great bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower - very spacious; huge balcony with good quality furnishings; air con a bit too severe for us so turned it down most of the time; good position on the ship - close to elevators, good view of everything - just a bit noisy at ports where lifeboats are used as tenders.

Great room, lots of closets and larger veranda. Linens on the bed were very soft and comfy. As we were close to the outside elevator it was so quiet we never heard a thing. It was nice having a dressing room and double sinks in the bathroom. The amenities were great. If the opportunity to upgrade to the delux suite dont pass it.

3 closets, lots of draw space.  very spacious verandah with two lounge chairs, and a table with two chairs.  two showers, double sink - mini-suite was bigger than our hotel room in Barcelona.  very quiet location and just one deck down from the Lido Buffet and swimming pool.

Oosterdam SS8085 is an adjoining room to SS8083. The door joining these suites is situated in such a way that you lose one of three closets. This is a pretty big deal. Nice balcony. Whirlpool bath tub did not work. most comfortable beds at sea.

Great Cruise Bucky63
We upgraded to a suite and found the accommodations to be more than we expected: plenty of storage, a great king-size bed, and a wonderful veranda. We were on the eighth deck and, considering that the pool area was directly above us, the cabin was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom featured a bathtub as well as a shower. Our room steward was excellent. We were provided with fresh fruit each day and ice twice a day.
