Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We had an amazing time celebrating NY on the Oasis. We chose this cruise because we loved the idea of a longer cruise that included stops in Curaçao and Aruba which were new to us. Cabin Went with a balcony guarantee and got deck 6 forward near the Vitality Spa and gym. I was worried about movement but it was minimal and was a great cabin. Very quiet, great location only 1 deck up from the ...

Where do I even begin?! This was a NYE cruise and we wish we didn't go! The Oasis sailed out of Port of Miami on Dec 29 and returned on January 7th. Ports of call included Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, Curacao, Aruba, and Jamaica. Embarking on the ship was not an easy, quick experience at all. The port was insanely busy needless to say. Getting on the ship itself is long and tedious, and the workers at ...

This was our first cruise. Therefore we went thru a travel agent to make sure everything would go smooth and be planned. We chose The Oasis of the Seas due to the reputation and it being a large ship. We had been told in the past that the food was awesome. However, this wasn't our experience. The food was awful. I ordered a steak in the dining hall and it just didn't look like a steak at ...

Worst Cruise We Ever Took

My husband wanted to experience a humongous cruise ship so we decided to try The Oasis of the Seas. Our first impression was that the cabin seemed noticeably smaller than we've had on other lines, but the boat was nice and well-cleaned. We thought the Park was very nice, and the food was good. The majority of the entertainment seemed to be aimed at much older passengers, and the water was too cold ...

Positives Great staff to get us on and off the boat in Canaveral. It went so smooth. Amazing ship and crew. There were a couple of crew members that really made it special for our group. Vishal, Kent, Jemelito who took care or us at the Dinning table every night. Deni was such an amazing room attendant. Carla was so helpful at guest services. Cruise Director Drew and Activities Manager ...

We chose this ship because it was sailing on New Year's Eve. It was festively decorated for the occasion. Pros: Getting on and off the ship was flawless! For the ship to be as big as it is, it was seamless. There is plenty to do on the ship. If you are bored, shame on you! The pools are beautiful and very clean. The towel stations are always open and ready. Starbucks is a ...

Nephew got married on cruise so this was our chance to experience one. Getting on and off went pretty smooth for the amount of people. The ship is amazing. We had on ocean view with balcony which would have been perfect but some idiot three rooms upwind was smoking on their balcony which made me get off of mine on occasion. The complimentary food was amazing. The "specialty" restaurants were ...

We chose this cruise because it was the 1st trip the Oasis took out of Port Canaveral. The ship is great with a lot to do but it is very crowded & there are lines for almost everything. The food was barely above average in the main dining room & we were very disappointed. The staff was exceptional. My Time dining is not really My Time dining. If you don't make a reservation you will have a long ...

1st Cruise; Most AMAZING Experience Ever!

This is my first ever review of anything. I will be the first to admit that I have never been interested in taking a cruise. My in-laws purchased a cruise for us and our siblings for Christmas. I have never been so impressed with the level of customer service that we received ever in my entire life. From the second we stepped onto the ship every single employee did nothing but make us feel ...

I'll start with the the best part of the cruise. Our Cabin Attendant (Clover Roberts) was a great Steward. She was always helpful with a smile on her face and very respectful. She made a so-so trip for us a better than it would have been. There was one waiter, who served us once at dinner and once at lunch, that was great! Unfortunately, that was the exception, not the rule. This was after ...
