Great Family Cruise By: joe61980
Room was absolutely amazing on the back corner of the 17th floor. Had an incredible 450 foot balcony which faced the sports area and also port side. Privacy didn't bother us at all as we liked activity watching. Room was two story with around 800 square feet. Bed was great and bath products excellent. Full baths on each floor included dual shower heads and a cascade head also. Our steward Darry was incredible. All drinks and specialty restaurants were included in our room along with a bar in the room with beer, soft drinks, and water.

Cabin 9644

We occupied a suite and received upgraded attention, which was enjoyed. However, there were 4 maintenance issues which could have been resolved before we had entered the suite, and 1 critical issue that could not be resolved. We were in suite 9644. Whenever the ship was at sea, the suite experienced loud popping and cracking noise, including all night long, which disturbed our sleep and reduced our in suite experience. Maintenance acknowledged the problem but said they could not address it while the cabin was occupied. Guest services could not move us to another suite, as none were available. They offered a 10% discount on our next cruise, which had to be used within one year. We are not annual cruisers and this was not a satisfactory resolution to our situation. I don't think anyone else would have liked it either. I would definitely cruise on Royal Caribbean again, giving them another chance but would recommend you avoid paying for a very expensive suite and getting 9644 without assurances that all has been resolved.

The 1720 Sky Loft Suite was very spacious and beautiful. It was 2 stories with windows that reached from floor to ceiling. The Balcony was very large and the views were superb! It was always cleaned and very tidy. Would definitely stay in that room again!!

Exceptional Experience By: cruisinit
The loft suites have controlled access, so there are not a lot of people walking the halls. I do understand that the suites on the port and starboard sides are the most preferred. The ones that are across the back of the boat overlook large public areas (as opposed to the ocean, directly) which is neither private nor relaxing.
