Cabin was smaller than I expected, having travelled more on Holland America. The "couch" area is really small with a small table and chair. The TV is in a corner cabinet as you enter the room. So crowded to get around. Only four small drawers in the TV cabinet. Closet didn't really have good space to stack clothes. Need to bring extra hangers, if you can since there is plenty of room to hang up clothes. Bathroom is split into two, with shower on the left, toilet on the right. In theory this is good, so multiple people can use the same area. But I would prefer to have one larger bathroom. There was a terrible smell in the toilet area. We had to leave the bathroom door open, to make it even breathable. We complained at the front desk multiple times. So often that they sent us chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine. Finally, after multiple tries, they did manage to get rid of the smell. I don't know what the solution was. Balcony area is OK. Two regular chairs and one very small table. Just enough room for two people. But always nice to have when you arrive and depart from the ports.

We loved this cabin. Its shape is an anomaly, apparently because it is the last room before the end of the ship, with the kid's club being on the other side. The room is actually large, although somewhat narrow. There is definitely a feel of having some space. The balcony is also the longest of the regular balcony rooms, and the only one large enough for a lounger, even though the lounger couldn't face out to the water. Compared to the room itself, the bathroom is amusingly tiny, but items era nice to have extra room in the cabin. Our kids could come in and hang out, because their room was a regular room with three people, so you could barely find the floor to walk on in there.

Better than expected! By: purplemaniac
Great cabin - location was convenient and very quiet. Room steward, Ritchie, was wonderful! Cabin only has one outlet and a very outdated hairdryer!!! Hairdryers need to be updated or replaced; bring extension cords or power strip! Lots of good storage - under the beds, deep cubbies in the closet, etc.

As a "hotel" I give this ship 1 star (*) The rooms are incredibly small with barely over two feet between the bed and the wall. The grout on the old bathroom tiles are filled with mold, and my room had red something on the grout that looked like the leftover of a crime scene. The balcony barely fits the two chairs they throw in there with the leg-room of an economy airline seat but the glass railing is so filthy dirty that the balcony is only there for show. The bath towels are old, and overused beyond their expiration date and so worn-out rough that they feel like sand-paper and when you dry your body or face it will turn red. On the plus side those towels will give you a free dermabrasion. The TV in the room is about 18" and I got so sick of the K-Mart type announcements that I disconnected it. The ship has an old intercom system and they have these annoying announcements every times an hour. They have cut so many corners on this ship that even the most basic health standard like having toilet seat covers anywhere in the ship, even the common area is non-existent. While they make sure your hands are clean and crew is everywhere with spray bottles they don't care at all if you use unprotected toilet seats.

Though you could tell it was older, it was very nice. We had plenty of room for our clothes in a big closet, and the balcony was breath taking at times. Took a cruise almost 30 years ago, and the room was a shoebox with twin beds and bunks hanging off the wall, so my expectations were low. Thought the room was decent sized, with closet space, and the balcony opened the room up. Bathroom was also bigger than I would have thought, with a decent sized shower. Randy was good at making up the room neatly and early and folding the towels into cute animals.

Best experience of my life! By: Cruise-vacation2015
Balconies are a must. You get to relax on it and see ports as you go in. Air flow is a plus too. Being close to the elevator is an asset since the ship is large but you also get those few people that don't know the meaning of quiet when walking down the hallway. It was a good space, bathroom was nice! It is an older ship but everything is still very beautiful

This room was just ok - needed some love - the toilet only flushed on time maybe 40% of the time - sometimes it was like 30 minutes later before it decided it was ready to flush. The closet has some sharp screws sticking out in the handle. There were pins sticking out of the bed that you scrapped your leg on. The worst thing was the bathroom smelled like mold - 100 % of the time - i had to hold my breath when i went in. Water came out brown alot too. Water pressure was great though.

We had a balcony cabin on deck 11 which was very spacious, with adequate hanging and drawer space. The bathroom benefited from a door attached to both the toilet and shower which could be separated from the sink area. The balcony, although small was ample. The only drawback was that there was an overhanging area from the deck above which tended to block out some of the sun at certain times of the day. The hallway was always kept clear and there was no noise.

Stateroom 11592 review I felt the room was very nice...we had a balcony and it was well worth it. Though on deck 11 you do hear all of the kids running up on the pool deck sometimes. Great location, not bad for hubby's first time sailing. Balcony is a must have! Did our laundry and air dried it with hangers! Great view to enjoy, watching the sail away and viewing sunsets. Close to the elevator! Closet size was standard but was able to fit our 2 large suitcases. I requested a fridge in the cabin, and they were accommodating with that. Bathroom size is adequate. Queen size bed is comfy with lots of pillows! Had restful sleeps, and only had one rough day at sea.. Sea sick pills were widely available. Walls were somewhat thin, hearing conversations from the neighbor (or possibly something else).

We were in Cabins 11556 and 11558 and they were directly under the gym that was open from 6am to 11pm. There was ALWAYS noise. Loud bags with free weights being dropped on the deck about. There are about 8 cabins that are under this gym and should be avoided. I would suggest that you check the deck plan of any cabin you book to see what is above you. It was my own fault that I did not do this before confirming cabin. It won't happen again !

NCL Spirit Balcony 11050: Adequate closet, the only table is covered up with a coffee maker, there is no refrigerator or mini bar. As all ships, the cabin had limited outlets, understandable if you research what electricity does to ships. The balcony light worked, of 8 cruises this is only the second outside light which worked! Bath arrangement was small toilet separated from sink by sliding glass door separated from show by same type glass door. Liked the arrangement. Beds were quite comfy. Lighting was adequate and convenient. TV location made controlling with remote difficult but did not spend much time watching TV.

Great balcony (very quiet, no noise from surrounding public areas), well placed in the middle of the ship and top level in between the forward and middeck stairways, tile in bathroom does have some mildew around edges but hardly noticable. Wonderful Spirit Cruise By: coldinkansas
We had a balcony room and was very satisfied with it. It seemed a little dated and maybe could use a little cosmetic touch ups but overall we thought it was fine. The balcony had a little rust showing but nothing that a little TLC wouldn't take care of. Plenty of closet space and all of our luggage fit nicely under the bed. We could hear a little noise in the early AM from upstairs but nothing that bothered either of us.

Cabin 11538. Good storage, closet and under bed. Typical bathroom, crowded in need of maintenance (Shower cable coming apart, intermittent water service). Select a cabin a little forward or aft of this one and still be close to the forward elevators.

11590, nice size for 2. Bathroom nice size, but musty-smelling entire week, with mildew on tile outside shower and under sink. Bathroom needs renovation. Excellent lighting in cabin with overhead lights and 2 reading lights. Also, great A/C control so one can precisely adjust temperature. Needs another 110 volt receptacle and a refrigerator. Safe in nice size closet. Balcony good for 2. Cannot hear shipboard announcements coming from speakers outside cabin in hallway. Being a Fall cruise, too cold for pool use on deck 12 above, only heard minimal banging of furniture topside at times. Music noise from above only heard a little, but this would be a problem on a Caribbean trip.

Very comfy! By: arby70
Our cabin #10628 was fairly roomy for the 2 of us. The closet and storage area was quite adequate and our big suitcases fit under the bed. The balcony was of good size. We loved the coffee pot in the room. No fridge, but our room stewards kept us in ice. The bed was very comfy. TV was a bit small but adequate and we liked to check out the info channel as to where the ship was, water temps and depth, etc. The bathroom was fairly roomy and the shower was a good size with a glass door rather than a flimsy plastic curtain. Water stayed in the shower and didn't get all over the floor. Only 1 outlet in the cabin itself, but we brought an extension cord. We found our cabin to be quite soothing, and it was extremely quiet. We spent quite a bit of time in our cabin so it was important to us and having the balcony was a real treat.

WE had 2 balcony cabins and t6his was great as they were connecting rooms and it was nice to have 2 full bathrooms and two decks and large rooms. Overall our cabin was always kept clean and the cabin steward did a great job and we were on the tenth floor and the views of the ocean were great espaecially on our return trip home as the caption informed of the whales and the ship had to slow down and we saw many whales. I recommend a balcony cabin as it was great having the balcony open and hearing the ocean and the smell of the sea air. The balcony was alittle small but it was comfortable and clean.

Cabin 10106
Jun 2009
CABIN: We went back to 10106 to get organized and set up our 'communication central' door. We posted our group's itinerary, a blank notepad, a pencil on a string (I actually brought a BUNCH of pencils figuring they would disappear but it never did LOL!), a "I am DEFINITELY doing such and such" form. We also posted highlighted dailies later in the cruise and other pertinent info. It worked out great. The cabin itself was great. Absolutely immaculate. Crisp yummy sheets and a 'white-white' coverlet on the bed. Mmmmm, the sheets smelled so good, too. The little desk and chair was very handy (with the 'fridge under it). There were a few drawers and shelves and the closet was quite large, I thought. I loved the bathroom set-up. The sliding shower doors were great and the sliding door to conceal the toilet. was a great touch. The showers were hot and powerful (quite a surprise). The flush of the toilet was a bit loud but, well, that was just AOK with us (better safe than sorry!). We hung our shoe organizer thing (would NEVER cruise without one - Thanks, CruiseCritic). There was also a little couch but that was kind of my 'bureau' so we didn't sit on that much. The flexible suitcases fit perfectly under the bed. The pillows were scrumptious and varied. Some a bit more fluffy, some a bit firmer. PERFECT! I had to leave my own pillow, that I ALWAYS travel with at home because of suitcase space issues and was thrilled at the pillow situation (small pleasures LOL). Our balcony was just wonderful. Two canvas-slung-type chairs and a little table. When we had company (which was quite a bit) there was some lap sitting and straddling of the sliding glass doors with the desk chair. We loved the balcony. As a matter of fact, in retrospect I fear we spent way too much time there. Though we loved it we missed some fun stuff (Sexy Legs Contest on the last sea day for example) topside. Oh well, can't have it all! I didn't watch even a second of TV but did have the music station on quite a bit - a good mix of tunes... There were plenty of mirrors and some lovely artwork. The slider drapes shut all the way and really darkened the cabin. It was a great cabin (I miss it LOL!).

Pleasant cabin, really firm bed (husband found it to hard), huge closet, nice seperate shower area, hair dryer, side table. I don't think the desk is a requirement would be more space without it...AND what's with the 1980's tiny portable TV - it is rather pathetic....We are not known to be easy too please...but we thought it doesn't get much better then this!We loved it. The balcony was a joy. What more could you want?

Cabin 10608

Great view of Dockyard from even numbered staterooms and the location of our balcony stateroom was among the best of any of our previous cabins.  The term, "close and convenient to everything" was not an exaggeration.

Perfect Week of Spirit By: mtrue1174
Great balcony with sliding door. Quiet location (pool area overhead - sometimes heard sliding of chairs from above). Musky Bathroom but lots of room with sliding doors for shower and toilet. Great room overall.

11078 - I think. Our room was so nice. The balcony was a plus. I thought the bathroom, though small was well laid out. The bed was super comfy and we slept great. Minor noise from the chairs above being moved across the deck. In te future we'd want the same room.

Closet was a good size, more hangers would have been great. There is no dresser and very little drawer space.

The Spirit rocks By: duncansdad
Small cabin and balcony only had room for two chairs and a very small table, think lamp table. No refrigerator and that was a disapointment. Under the buffet, very rarely had any noise from above, and even then, it was minimal.

Great bed, small balcony, good bathroom, closet and under-bed storage. Not much room for two adults to move around, though.

Our cabin was fine. It was what we expected. Balcony was great. It's a ship not a hotel. Space is always limited.
