We chose this cruise for the starting point in Venice and the ports along the way. We enjoyed a couple days in Venice seeing the sights. It was smart that we planned that time because one suitcase did not make it and thankfully was delivered to our hotel the afternoon before the cruise. Chose this cruise for an extended family vacation- 12 of us in total. Tough to find a date and itinerary that worked for everyone. This one fit the bill- in theory. We choose this cruise because of itinerary and timing.
The locations were wonderful but in every case there was not enough time on shore.
If you didn’t book an excursion you could be delayed 2hrs leaving boat when you only had 4-5 hrs total.
We had to line up at 5am to get a tender ticket to get off ship at 8am that day, and people were lining up at 4am to get these tickets.
