Downhill for NCL and the Sun

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Sun

I last sailed this ship 6 years ago. This is the first time since COVID that I have sailed on NCL, my 25th cruise total and I am Platinum status with them. My fav cruise line has really stopped customer first service. My checkin was 11am, no rooms ready till 3pm so the common areas were flooded, no room to sit, not enough bathrooms. Then the buffet is a bad flow causing hundreds of people to line ...

My daughter and I did the 10 day cruise to Italy and Greece. It was GREAT UNTIL... a kid poop in the ADULT pool. I get it things happen. And I am pretty cool with those things that do happen. However what NCL failed to do was follow, implement and apply their own rules, regulations and policies. "ADULT POOL ONLY" "NO SMOKING" signs were posted where they were in plane sight. We booked our ...

Obvious cutbacks

We wanted to visit Italy and Greece. The breakaway was a little disappointing. We have cruised on ncl many times. Maintenance seems to be lacking. The curtain on the balcony door was ripped and not attached to the rod, the balcony door itself did not operate as it should. It was very difficult to open and close. The brown/tan rug was worn, the drawer under the couch could not close completely, ...

Even though there was five cruise ships in at same time u wouldn’t have known. Everything was seamless, security, getting on ship . Restaurants were open bars were open to welcome guests on . Extremely disappointed with room, food and lack of customer care

We purchased this cruise (window room) on previous black friday sale. Online it did not show that there would be anything blocking the view. The room we received looked over the crew's break deck with no view of the water. When blinds were open, crew could look right into our room. On top of that the window was 1/2 full of water that sloshed around. AND, there was a sign to keep the blinds ...

On a full ship, we found the service excellent in every bar and eatery. All restaurants serving beautiful food & huge selection in restaurants & buffet, so could not fault anything The entertainment was excellent with some of the best shows we had seen on any cruise ship So much to enjoy The only restaurant not rated by other travellers was the Chinese, so we avoided that as our favourite was ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Norwegian Sky

Was surprised at all the poor reviews of this ship. We had a wonderful experience. Middle aged couple with 40+ cruises, Platinum Status on NCL. We love the older ships because they look and feel like actual ships and we tend to avoid the new and glitzy 'floating hotels'. No shade, just a preference. The ship is 23 years old and clearly a 'training ship'. A lot of staff stated it was their ...

Baltimore: This was the first every NCL cruise from Baltimore and our first cruise on NCL (or from Baltimore). 10 days from Baltimore to Quebec with stops in Martha's Vineyard, Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, Saguenay, Quebec City (fly back from Montreal). Baltimore is both the closest port to us and by far the most chill. Super easy access. We parked at a hotel with ...
