Jan 2, 2024 (10 day on a bermuda trip with no bermuda.) traveled from ca to ny to see bermuda and other islands. instead more days at sea with a boat way overcrowded with horrible food. They should have diverted us to another port instead of 3 more days at sea since bermuda was out. We could've gone back to dominican rep, st. Thomas or puerto rico! 3 days at sea when we left and 3 days at sea to ...
We usually cruise on Disney but our kids are getting older so we tried NCL. What a mistake that was! We sailed on a family suite in the Haven. The food in the Haven never changes, but the ship is so crowded you can’t eat anywhere else. The ship has little to offer families and food is tough to find outside of meals. We spent 5 days at sea with four ports. NCL keeps scheduling Bermuda trips ...
We chose this cruise because, for us, no fly and we were able to book at late date. Embarkation was seemless, almost too quick and easy. We had to wait 3 hours before stateroom was ready and eating venues were jammed. But once settled in, the sail away past the Statue of Liberty was magnificent on a clear, crisp day. Disembarkation was a little delayed, but once called, moved right through. ...
About the Reviewer: I’m a middle-aged American male who traveled solo on this, my 62nd voyage. Just over half of my sailings have been with NCL, however, I have sailed on other cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, MSC and Carnival. This was my second cruise as a Diamond Latitudes member, which is NCL’s second highest Latitudes tier. This was my 8th voyage of the year and my 4th on ...
Food not so hot. Our last Norwegian cruise in 2019 had better food. Moderno was a major disappointment. Staff was over worked and underpaid. The NCL hired less employees making it a strain on the ones working. Felt sorry for the staff. Major long lines to embarkation. Why have a boarding time when it was a free for all to get on. We will need to explore other cruise line options. Staff was ...
Man, such a crappy cruise line. We have cruised with Royal 3 times and had no issues whatsoever. I don’t even know where to begin with this one. The boat itself was so underwhelming (the Epic one). Very few hottubs and pools, one of the 2 pools was always out of order, hottubs (4) were never hot. Not enough for 4,000 people anyhow. No frills either. Other boats have go karts, ice rinks, zipline, ...
Previous to this, I have been on three Royal cruises and they have been wonderful. I cannot believe the difference between this cruise and my past ones. This cruise may have turned me off of cruising all together.
Positive highlights:
1. Food was really good at all the dining options.
2. The rooms were clean and I liked how they had them set up where the toilet was separate from the ...
Plan on standing in line for half your time to get a drink.
This includes simple stuff, like a coke or Pepsi. Sure you can get water. Or ice tea. The staff is so limited and over worked. Absolutely do not bring kids there’s nothing for them other than the splash zone. I mean no kids channel either. Ok ya the shouldn’t watch tv but then WhT is there one? Every cafeteria serves exactly ...
We chose this cruise as we wanted to be on the ship to bring on the new year, the ports were all new to us so an opportunity to try new places.
We boarded the cruise at Tampa, we were Haven guests so had a priority check in area, so we didn’t need to wait and we’re on the ship by 11.30am and taken for lunch in Cagney which was designated for Haven guests.
However overall we were really ...
I chose this cruise to celebrate New Year’s Eve and for the itinerary including Roatán because we wanted to experience the sloth and monkey sanctuary. The ship was clean and beautiful and easy to get around. Service in all areas could not have been better. Several areas smelled of cigarettes, including outside the theater and the game room, which was undesirable. The pool did not have a slide, ...
