Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I have cruised dozens of times, but this was my first cruise with NCL. The problems started before the cruise; I called to see if any room upgrades were available and was told yes and that it would be free. This seemed odd, but the phone representative seemed sure. So I agreed. Weeks later, I called wondering why I still had no air reservations and was told this would be done 30 days before ...

We chose this cruise as we’ve always wanted to see the Mediterranean. We arrived in Rome a day early and stayed near the Trevi Fountain. Embarking was quick and easy in Civitavecchia and disembarking in Athens allowed us to see a number of ports. The only disappointment was the change in port from Monaco to Saint Tropez. When we got to Saint Tropez on Sunday, everything was closed. Being ...

Our Most Challenging Cruise and Trip to Date: 22 days from Rome to Israel In November 2019, we had been on a wonderful B2B cruise in the western and eastern Mediterranean on the MSC Grandiosa and the NCL Spirit. We were excited to return to Israel to see more sites and experience history and culture, so we booked the NCL Epic from Nov 3-15, 2022. This 2022 cruise was far more challenging than ...

We chose this cruise based on the itinerary. 11 ports and finishing up in New York City. We were going to visit our daughter in Virginia after the cruise. We spent three nights in Rome. Weather was fabulous, however many Italians were on vacation for the all saints break. Rome consequently it was very very crowded. We still enjoyed it and explored areas we have not visited before. Boarding the ...

I booked Norwegian for the first time during the pandemic and had Future Cruise Credit to use or loose. Having primarily cruised with Celebrity my expectations of the cruising experience is high.. This specific ship is big by all accounts, however the individual spaces are not very big to accommodate large number of passengers all enjoying the pool, same show or entertainment outside of the ...

1ST Transatlantic Trip

This was our first transatlantic trip. We have sailed on Norwegian before and really had no issues. I can't say enough about the staff they were great, friendly and accommodating. My husband uses a walker, and they attended to his needs at all times. Love the performances and shows, except the one duo, who had no personality at all on stage, they looked bored. The Entertainment Team did an ...

I chose this cruise because I enjoy transatlantic sailings. We embarked at Civitavecchia, visited Livorno, Cannes, Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga, Cadiz, Lisbon, Ponta Delgada and disembarked at my home port, New York City. We had seven fun filled sea days. There were alot of trivia games offered. NCL Escape has great entertainment and dining was also very good. Lobster is offered as an upcharge in ...

We had never done a transatlantic before and we're not getting any younger, so we figured now or never...and never wasn't an option. We had a Mediterranean cruise on the Escape canceled in May, 2020 and were determined to do this one. The ship itself was practically spotless. The crew was extremely friendly, always smiling and greeting you in the hallways. Our cabin steward, Ryan, was superb. ...

Overall the cruise was a pleasant surprise

After a horrendous pre cruise experience due to their inept flight department we were pleasantly surprised with our cruise. The flight department arranged our post cruise extension as pre cruise in error. When they were advised of their mistake they went back and verified the phone conversation and then wanted to offer onboard credit rather than fix the the problem which they did 30 days later ...
