If you like sitting in your cabin, the norwegian epic is the ship for you. There were so many people on the ship, we waited 20-30 for a drink at every bar, for anything other than the buffet there was an hour and a half wait from the moment they opened, we couldn’t get a seat on the pool deck, and couldn’t get into any shows (even showing up 45 minutes early). This ship surpassed all of our expectations. Ports were awesome, St. Thomas was beautiful and so was Great Stirrup Cay. DR port had a great pool and lazy river. Guests: Two females aged 57, 61. We chose this cruise because of the ports and to just relax in sun and read. It was our first time in an interior room. Embarkation was a breeze even tho it was raining. We had a hard time at first finding our way around but staff was very helpful.
