Cruise was just ok. Beautiful ship, very clean. The NCL excursions were not good. Stirrup Cay was the best one.

New ship. Staff was friendly with the exception of a couple bartenders. We were really excited about the ports, but due to weather and long bus and boat rides they were not pleasant. With the exception of Stirrup Cay. Do not bother with Ocho Rios beach day in Jamaica. It was a long bus ride and an overall terrible experience. Cozumel Passion Beach excursion was just ok. A lot of rocks and ...

We loved the new ship, with a few caveats

We loved the new ship, decor was beautiful. Tons of dining options and some of the best food we have had on any cruise (we have been on Disney, Celebrity, RC, Norwegian and Costa). Indulge food hall is a game changer, and we were never disappointed in anything we got there. Cabins seems far more spacious than other cruises with great storage. Furniture on balcony was actually comfortable, no ...

A different NCL experience with some room for improvement...

I apologize beforehand but this is a long review. I have found others’ input very helpful in planning our vacation and hope our experience can help someone else have a fun cruise on the Prima. My husband and I traveled alone from Maine (United States) March 12-19, 2023. We are both in our mid to late 30s, no kids and have been on 7 other cruises in the past. We have been on the Escape twice, ...

So Many Mixed Emotions- Good, Bad and Indifferent

We booked this cruise because we wanted to preview the Prima prior to its Iceland/Norway cruise in June that we booked quite a while ago. We had read so many negative reviews and a few positive ones. Normally we ignore the few negative reviews and focus on the positive. With that in mind, we decided to be positive and enjoy this new ship as much as possible. In this review, I also wanted to ...

NCL PRIMA The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

GOOD The PRIMA is a beautiful ship and feels new with very modern looking furnishings and art work. There are multiple interactive touch screens by all the elevators that provide information and a map of the current deck and all other decks. These are very useful to find your way around the ship as often you must walk through one area to get to your destination. The staterooms are very ...

We (my mother and I) chose this cruise specifically to be on this brand new ship. The new design, infinity pools and other attractions intrigued us and we were dying to try it out. We booked our cruise long before she was even built! We were not disappointed. I have read all the negative reviews and some have a point, the ship cannot accommodate the number of people they book. It was ...

Mediocre at best

Took the grandkids for their first cruise. This ship is so unorganized. Staff running in way too many directions. Bars forget it you wait to get a drink and when you do get your drink it’s never the same as the last one! Whiskey sour how hard is that whiskey and sour mix, apparently very hard for this crew. There is no doubt the bottles are watered down there was no to very little whiskey in my ...

Beautiful ship, but that was it

My wife and I chose this ship for several reasons: the itinerary, the time of year, Port Canaveral is close to our home and it was a new ship we wanted to experience. The pros: large staterooms, food was good and our stateroom attendant was excellent. The cons: the buffet was way undersized for the amount of passengers, as was the entertainment venues. The ship is a virtual labyrinth when it ...

Worst design NCL ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Prima

At lunch and dinner the buffet is extremely small with no place to sit. The food court is nice but again not enough sitting place. The ship is super nice but the plubic area not design for 3900 guest. Been on many other NCL cruise ship this was the less enjoying experience even in the Haven area they have removed many amenities that you found on other ships. Very crowded compare to other NCL ...

My husband and I do a trip each year for our anniversary instead of gifts. We missed out last year due to my having a foot surgery so we decided to do a longer trip this year. We were excited about spending so many days in peace and quiet, just relaxing and doing things on our own time. The past year at work was particularly hard for us both with 12-14 hour days all year. This trip was needed. ...
