My husband and I chose this cruise because we wanted to go through the new canal and end up in Miami to visit friends.
The ugly, embarkation process was a joke. Many passengers did not get on the ship until late afternoon, total confusion by the staff at the terminal. Many staterooms were not ready until four.

Booked to experience Panamá Canal and Costa Rica, unfortunately CR was taken off itinerary and replaced with Acapulco (not a fair trade off) PC was very interesting and a knowledgeable local guide gave interesting commentary.

We wanted to do the Panama Canal, so we booked this cruise. Shortly after booking it in September 2022 they cancelled stops in Costa Rica and Nicaragua without a reason or refund. Then in December they sent a notice stating the ship would sail from Berth 46 in Los Angeles. Chose this cruise to get away from the cold.
Embarking was very well done as was debarking.
The ship itself is in excellent shape.
The other guests were not sensitive for the needs of people with disabilities and sat at designated handicaped tables in the buffet during the entire cruise.
