My husband (DH) and I just returned from 11 days in the Caribbean on the Norwegian Pearl, in an aft penthouse suite (#8132). The cruise was a partial transit through the Panama Canal. The following are our observations - a wonderful time, with a couple of small hiccups along the way. Embarkation: We embarked in Miami. The new NCL terminal B is beautiful, but things got off to a rocky start ...

About the Reviewer: I’m a middle-aged American male who traveled solo this trip. This was my 31st Norwegian Cruise Line voyage and my 55th cruise overall. I have sailed primarily on NCL with a handful of cruises with Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, MSC and Carnival. This was my eighth cruise back after the pandemic restart and my fourth back with Norwegian Cruise Line. My previous cruise was on the ...

We always wanted to cruise Panama Canal and were excited about the itenerary. We are long time NCL cruisers but oir experience fell below our seasoned expectations. We have always loved NCL. The ship was recently renovated and we miss the wine bar. Decor is nice. Pros: Drink package upgrade for Veuve anytime Magnums bar, wine selection Cagneys food and service excellent ...

Excellent itinerary. Definitely one of the best cruises we have always taken.

This cruise itinerary was excellent. Our cabin steward, Mr Rivera, was very accommodating with our schedule and very helpful. we discovered that a couple of things were not working in the cabin. We told him the same day we sailed from Miami and the issues were taken care that same night. We had all of our evening meals at the Indigo Restaurant. Several people are worth mentioning; Singh ( I ...

Good quality, few guests, ever-shady practices from NCL

Insane-level service by bar waitresses; surprisingly good but limited entertainment (nothing going on in the day); average food, even in the pay restaurants, but no bad meals; some of the worst shore excursions I've ever been on; one of the easiest embarkations ever and the easiest debark in more than 10 cruises (I literally walked off the ship, no line, and was on the street in San Diego in ...

I had a Panama cruise cancelled last year because of COVID.It was another company, but still wanted to see it.Glad I went because it's a one time need to see.The cruise was quiet with no children. It was right before Christmas.Staff was friendly and attentive. Some of the passengers seemed a little snobby and entitled.Dont usually see that on NCL.The ship was bright, clean and updated. The food was ...

We have been cruising for over 30 years and have been on various cruise lines, so we have experience both good, bad and exceptional cruises. This the first cruise we decided to take since the COVID lock down. We selected this cruiseline because we are Gold members and have had some great times on previous sailings. Our first issue was arriving at the port to check-in Port Canaveral. Prior ...

The cruise was lovely. Some hiccups as with all cruises but you learn to get through it and move along. I was traveling with a couple that my husband and I have traveled with before and shared the interior family suite with the virtual window - deck 11. Favorite location on the ship – The Observation Lounge! It was like being in a penthouse in the sky. Forward on the ship, there are windows ...

We chose this cruise because of the itineraries, ship and my 'bucket list'. We booked the Panama Canal Cruise sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida and returning from Los Angeles, CA. The itineraries were interesting but about 3 weeks prior to sailing, the port of call to Costa Rica was changed to Acapulco, Mexico without warning or notification to us. When we checked in on-line, we chose ...
