A Nice Escape from New York

We chose this cruise because we were originally going to bring our 15 month old son and we figured being able to drive to the port in New York from home was easier than flying somewhere. However, this turned out to not be the case, as my in-laws offered to babysit :) And at that point, it was too late to change the itinerary, but that was fine. We wanted a relaxing, "do nothing" cruise, and this ...

Only our second time on NCL but absolutely loved, loved this cruise!! We did a 7 day cruise out of NY to the Bahamas Both embarkation and disembarkation were handled quickly, efficiently and without stress. Our accessible stateroom was spacious, very clean and our stateroom attendant was just fabulous. The food throughout the ship, from the Café, the main dining rooms, to the specialty ...

We left from NY and went to Florida, Bahamas and Nassau. The ship had so much to do for my teenage kids and us. Paradise Island and Atlantis were amazing. Had so much food, fancy and casual and was available at any hour. . The shows on board were great, games all the time, friendly staff, rope courses, pool, hot tubs, water slides and up beat people everywhere. Our favorite show was the Chior of ...

We'd never been on a cruise, we had a date, we didn't want to fly to the ship, this cruise fit all the requirements. The destination was almost secondary. We got really lucky! Everyone on the ship was incredibly nice and friendly and helpful. Our cabins were small but very comfortable. Food was great. We ate at the buffet, in a dining room and at the dinner theater and it was all good. ...

Although we have cruised quite a few times before, we finally convinced our daughter and her husband to join us for this one. It was a totally different experience, but it was even more fun than our other cruises. EMBARKATION- I have some mobility issues and so requested wheelchair assistance at the pier. The wheelchair waiting area was just inside the terminal at Pier 88 in NYC, It was great ...

We have cruised with Norwegian before and were pleased so we booked the Escape to the Bahamas. We cruised on the Spirit before but this time we wanted to try a bigger and newer ship. I'm so glad we did! Service: First of all, the service we received was outstanding. The crew in the buffet were always friendly and accommodating. The steward for our room was always smiling and helpful. We ...

Went on this cruise with my husband and parents. They were celebrating their 61st anniversary from earlier in the month and I was celebrating my birthday in early March. As we've cruised several times together this one was right up there... The ship is great with lots of space to spread out in (with 4000 guests you need to get away from the crowds!) Room was very comfortable and in a great ...

Review of NCL Escape, 2/24/19-3/3/19- Bahama cruise from NYC. Embarkation was smooth and without incident. Upon arrival, our balcony cabin (14814) was neat and well appointed. Beds were comfortable but the other 2 persons in my party complained that they were uncomfortable. We were immediately met our cabin steward, Jocelyn and requested a third balcony chair which she immediately ...

I purchased this cruise as an anniversary gift for my wife. This was our first cruise; we had talked about going but had never been. The cruise was amazing! It had surpassed all of my expectations! All staff from every department on the ship were kind, polite, approachable and took great pride in their jobs. We loved the activities and the activities staff were so much fun as they led, engaged and ...

We just returned from a 7-day cruise. This was cruise #6 with Norwegian and we have never had a complaint - before this. Our cabin steward was pleasant enough when he saw us but seemed to really not care. We got our comp sparkling wine the 2nd night. We asked for ice one afternoon and never got it. He rarely changed our dirty glasses. We have always sailed on ships that have smoking areas that ...
