Worse vacation ever

4200 cruisers and 1700 staff. Like being stuck in NYC. We waited in lines all week for elevators, excursions, drinks, dinner. You could not get into buffet and find a table or a chair at the poll. Taste & Savor had horrible service with buffet quality food. I can say the Manhattan room was best dinner on board. Great Stirrup Cay Island was so crowded with 2 other ships there you could barely get ...

Norweigan Escape (Good name for that ship, makes you want to escape)

I will start off by saying that I have cruised Norwegian Gem and the Breakaway and never had a problem, it was delightful!! However, I just got off the Escape from the 7th to the 14th of April, and from the time I stepped on the ship there was a problem!!! I and my other 9 cousins and all the handicapped passengers waited 3 1/2 hours to get a wheelchair to get on the ship. Then I get to the ...

I have always been hesitant of taking a cruise, but I am so happy I finally did and I am glad I did so by traveling with the Norwegian family. Everyone on the boat seemed as if they were handpicked, from the people checking us in to the person taking care of our room to the bar tenders, waiters and captain, etc... super nice people always caring for us. The rooms were wonderful, comfortable beds ...

Rude crew members and long waits for drinks

Chose this cruise cause I heard they are supposed to be one of the best. The crew walked around with a chip on their shoulder and gave a lot of attitude when asked simple question. Almost like they did not want to have to help you. The lines for drinks were about a 15 minute wait because the bartenders will serve their couple favourites and make everyone else wait. The food was absolutely ...

We had an amazing time! Awesome cabin steward, room was very spacious although the sofa/bed where my son slept was not so comfortable--we didn't know until late in the week to ask the steward for something to help (our first cruise). Food was wonderful, private island was fun. Pool was too small and too crowded. There were actually 2 pools, one was designated for adults only and the child ...

The Escape was fun and easy to maneuver. The staff was very kind. The food was great. I especially enjoyed Moderno Churrasco, all you can eat meat. The garlic steak was my favorite but all was tasty and cooked to perfection. I always love the pineapple at the end. Taste and Savor were great places to dine with the family for dinner. We didn’t wait long to get a seat any night. O’Sheehans was a ...

I chose this cruise because it was an easy ride to New York port. Also it was going to the Bahamas. We had a great time. I don’t know why I see a lot of negative reviews. We had a mini suite with balcony. It was not very big, but no cabins are. We did not hear any noises from other cabins. The food was very good, but service a bit slow. Being a large ship, it was sometimes crowded in ...

I have always cruised NCL and wanted to treat my daughter and grandson to an awesome experience. Prior to this The largest NCL ship I had traveled on was the Breakaway, The Escape is just a larger version of the BA. Unfortunately, as with all NCL ships the pool areas are still small and seating in those areas is difficult. In addition, the "casino Smoke" situation is the same if not ...

We chose this cruise because of the extra "Free at Sea" perks and my friend had been on this cruise two years ago. The entertainment was excellent. We saw "The Choir of Man," a magician, and "Howl At the Moon." We also did the Wine Lovers luncheon, which was fantastic and definitely worth the extra fee. We sampled six wines, while dining on a fabulous fancy lunch. Norwegian's Freestyle ...
