NCL is our cruise line of choice and we love the latitudes program. All of our NCL cruises to date have been great until this one. The entertainment was for the most part poor and gross at times. The extra charges were never ending. The casino is midship and the smoke was terrible.

We loved every minute of this vacation. We were fortunate enough to have a Haven room. The perks associated with this room are priceless. The priority Embarkation, disembarkation, and VIP services were second to none.

I’ll keep it somewhat short. First of all we are a low maintenance travelers but we do travel very frequently. We were booked in the worst cabin on the ship ( no joke) room 8403. It is below one of busiest crew stairwells on the entire ship ( which is a metal staircase). We did a package deal through a travel service. We had never been to New Orleans so we really pick the city before we picked the ship. Even though it’s one of NCL’s bigger ship we were pleasantly surprised. There is so much to do or you can just do nothing.

This was our first cruise with NCL, third overall. We chose NCL because of the departure from NOLA and it seemed like a good deal. The deal was misleading and ended up costing more due to the nickel and diming at every opportunity. Embarkation was organized and efficient. Disembarkation was disorganized, chaotic and took far longer than necessary.

Chose for price and ports. Had never cruised NCL was unsure of free dinning. We had good food and service, but missed the individual every night special care. The one problem was smell of smoke through decks 6,7&8. The casino was next to atrium so smoke smell drifted between those decks.

Had a great time except for the waiting in line 45 minutes for shows. If you don't plan on using the mini bar in your room I would recommend having it emptied until after you are off the ship.
