Love NCL, we have cruised all top 5 and this by far the best ever! Food was exceptional, entertainment was best ever (Burn the Floor was unbelievable!) staff was awesome. The dining was never a problem, there were 8 of us and NEVER had to wait for a table. This ship was large enough there was never a problem with chairs around the pool deck, no areas seemed too crowded. Getting on and off the ...

A perfect vacation in the Haven

We had the good fortune of sailing on the Breakaway for a 10-day cruise out of New Orleans on February 7, 2019. We were in cabin 16102, which is a Deluxe Owner's Suite (category H2) in the Haven. To quickly get to the point, it was an absolutely perfect vacation that surpassed our expectations. This is only our second cruise with Norwegian, and after a stellar experience on the Jewel in the ...

The Ship-Embarkation- Turns out NCL does not have priority boarding in New Orleans. Took us 55 minutes to board. Muster drill was supposed to be at 3:30. It didn’t start until 4 pm and there was nobody there to direct you to your correct area until just before. The ship itself is really nice and the people very friendly. There are two banks of elevators, one forward and one aft, with 8 ...

I wouldn’t choose Norwegian again

I have cruised often & was quite disappointed with our first trip on Norwegian. Water! They do not provide enough water! Even on their own private Island, we were forced to buy bottled water if we wanted to stay hydrated. Really? Also, there was not enough staffing for the amount of guests. I was NEVER, the whole 10 days, approached by anyone for drink service. Even in the dining room. We were ...

My husband and I have cruised NCL twice before and had great experiences to Alaska on the Pearl. This was a great deal I found, my hubby wasnt able to go but a friend and I went. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end. The ship was much larger than I had been on before so that took a bit of getting used to but had so much to offer- great entertainment, so many different venues, Broadway ...

Pretty good cruise. Considering that my wife and I have cruised 7 times in the past 10 years and this is our 5th with NCL, (just Gold Latitude members) this review, like many other folks will be slightly subjective. The pros: Our mini suite cabin was on deck 8=great location if you like the several specialty restaurants on the same level We were able to acquire the Free Drink Pkg & 4 Free ...

Cruise recommended by friends, went with friends, (4 couples). Awesome ship, awesome food, had the beverage and dining packages... highly recommended. Great entertainment, bars and lounges everywhere...Super staff and crew. Happy Happy Happy.... Balcony cabin was awesome, roomy enough. Ports and excursions simply grand. Disembarkation was late leaving port, ended up being dark, that was a bit ...

8th cruise and 1st cruise on NCL. The plus’ -Ship: was beautiful but not laid out very well. Cabin was adequate but balcony was very small. 2 chairs and a tint table is al that fit. -Entertainment: was OK. Really enjoyed Guilty Pleaaure band playing in Syd Norman’s club. Had to make reservations for some of the shows which is ridiculous. Some of the shows cost. That’s a first for ...

Beautiful boat, entertainment was in poor taste with little room at venues

Friends have been on Norwegian cruises and we had been carnival. So we choose Norwegian for the 11 days and visited New Orleans which is amazing. Getting on and off the boat was great and smooth. Cabins were great, dining was great, ship was elegant, ports were great as well. The spa package was great. The only complaints or lack enjoyment was the entertainment which was very vulgar and comedians ...

I choose this cruise because friends we were travelling with always cruise Norwegian and we were going with them. We found for the age of the people travelling that the entertainment was repetitive and inappropriate for older crowds, lewd and loud and definitely not the kind of entertainment at the breakaway theatre that older crowds would attend to. Considering the age of the people that went ...
