It's our Birthday

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

If you choose Cuba, you need more than 24 hours to enjoy the full culture! It was both our birthdays and we wanted to go somewhere neither one of us had been, since we both travel extensively. From the time we boarded the ship until we left the staff was extremely friendly, happy, and helpful. Our cabin Steward; Wilfred made sure we knew he was there to help with any of our needs. Even ...

Long line for embarkation (1 hour wait). Cabin was extremly small compared to other cruise lines. Bread was stale/old...every single time at the restaurants. The quality of the food and variaty was not great. The wait time was long to get your food. On two separate occassions, people that had come after us had been served their meal before us. One of the pools was actualy drained during the ...

Sailing to Cuba was a great experience. The embarkation and disembarkation was smooth and we had a great day planned with a private guide. Learning the culture and having our eyes opened to what we take for granted was a wonderful experience. The food was great and the people were very nice. The ship is older and smaller but we knew that going in. The room was clean and there was always ...

From family fun at "Escape the Big Top" to Cirque Dreams and Steam to Howl at the Moon to Ultimate Challenge...Water Slides, a High Ropes course where you can walk to plank out over the ocean, mini golf, rock climbing wall, bungie jumping..... The list of FUN goes on and on! The cabin (10766) midship was ...

Just returned from 7 day on Getaway. Stayed in a Heaven Suite. Check in a breeze. Leaving the ship with priority went well. Out forward suite nice size very modern and spotless. Room was always super clean and well attended to. We ate mostly in specialty restaurants very happy with all the food. I am fussy about food. Haven areas were great .We never went to main pool stayed in Haven ...

My cruise was supposed to be an eastern carribean cruise and was rerouted to a western cruise. I had not known about it till I paid for the cruise. Error of the travel agent that did not confirm where it was heading. However, I enjoyed myself a lot and would plan another cruise in the near future. Meals were excellent, music and entertainment was great too. Staff very courteous and ...

To start this out, This cruise was book because it was the one chosen for the reunion. This was my first NCL cruise and, unless things change, my last. We booked with a group of nearly 40. The cost of our tickets for a balcony was around $1300 pp. You can read other reviews for ports and excursions, this review will be about my thoughts, experiences, and opinions of this ship and line. I ...

This is an honest review of our week on the Getaway from a seasoned traveler that has traveled plenty of times on NCL... We booked a Mini-Suite for a family of 4. We had about 7 other family member also booked on the same sailing. Cabin was OK. Just OK. The only benefit this cabin has compared to the balcony was a bigger bathroom. That’s it! Food & Drinks. This is a BIG concern that we ...

This cruise I chose to take one of my very good friends on for her first cruise. We did not explore Miami before getting on the ship. While the line looked long to go through the embarkation process the line moved quickly. The crew greeted us right as we got on the ship, as they did every time we returned to the ship. The ship was amazing! We soaked up everything it had to offer. We loved the ...
