Our first cruise ever. Our stateroom was very clean and our steward was very friendly. I was expecting a shoebox but my husband and I had plenty of room. The food was good everywhere we ate. We tried most all the restaurants but there were a few we didn’t get to. All crew members were very friendly. We were always greeted with ‘hello’ and often asked if we were enjoying the cruise. We especially ...
Embarkation was very easy arrived in Miami seaport at 11:15 and we were on the boat by 11:40. Went grab a bite at buffet, while quite large I found the layout very confusing and had no type of order where food was we only ended up doing lunches here and we did one dinner since they had a seafood night. For our specialty restaurants we did Cagney's, Teppanyaki and La Cucina. All were excellent. ...
We were excited to cruise on the Bliss, it is a beautiful ship, the biggest problem I felt was there is not even close to enough room at the pool or the H2O deck for sunning. Unless you went down at 6am to secure chairs, we were not getting one. So if you like the pool area, make sure your an early riser. The crew were good, no one being memorable enough to even mention unfortunately. This is a ...
We chose this cruise because of the size of the ship, the numerous food and entertainment options, and the size of the staterooms. We also thought our 11 year old twin daughters would enjoy all of the activities for them.
First, we spent the previous night in Miami, and stayed just north of the airport to save at least $150 compared to hotels near the port. Uber XL the following morning was ...
GETTING TO THE SHIP: Our trip started in chaos when Spirit Airlines cancelled our flight on Friday morning. Our group of 10 from Pennsylvania were able to find last minute flights on Delta out of Pittsburgh and arrived in Fort Lauderdale late that evening. Thank you Delta!!
We stayed at the Hotel Morrison in Dania Beach. New hotel with nice rooms, comfortable beds and a nice breakfast. SAS ...
We were 1st time cruisers, we were invited to join some of our neighbors. So happy we did this ship is amazing, the crew wonderful, shows excellent, food fabalous. From check in to embarkation they are so organized. The only issues I saw was the adult pool was way over crowded with people sitting on the side and lack of deck chairs after 10am! and spent alot of time waiting for elevators.
The ...
So I cruise NCL quite often, in fact earned a status upgrade from platinum too platinum plus on this trip. Which means I'll get 2 Champaign, 2 water, and 60 minutes of internet in May on my next trip.
So what did NCL do right on thus ship. It is beautiful, comfortable and all designed in all the common areas.
With a few exceptions.
The main donning rooms are similarly located, ...
We had friends going on this cruise so we joined them. It was our first cruise. I loved sitting out on the balcony at night you could see so many stars. The food was great. We did have to wait a long time at Cagney's, they gave us extra drinks to compensate. There is always something to do on ship. We didn't do some activities we wanted to as we were still at another activity. Warning! Don't have ...
We had a great vacation onboard the Bliss. Food was great and entertainment was varied and excellent.
Buffet-Lots to chose from. Standouts were the Mongolian Beef, vetable stir fry, and beef with broccoli.
Room service- Great turkey sub, my husband liked the supreme pizza. We ordered often.
The Local- Great that there is something 24/7. Good pub food, especially the Asian wings.
Q- ...
The Bliss does not have a sports area, only a tiny 5 course mini golf area, no pool activities. Indoor activities are very slim, no Quest on this ship. Basically this ship is for relaxation or if your a person that does not like any activities.
Customer service I thought was very poor, I felt most of the staff seems unhappy. The bartenders at The Local were the best and always ...
