Great spring break trip! Fun ship!
Shows are awesome, food is great in dinnng room and in the specialty restaurants. We purchase the thermal
Suite spa package and was worth the money! Enjoyed it so much.
Kids has a great time, made friends on the first day and pretty much saw them a few times as they were always entertained!
Ship is beautiful and easy to navigate. The views from the ...
So I have been on RC, Disney and carnival. I can honestly say, sailing on the Norwegian was the worst experience. We booked a balcony room, which wa tiny! I mean very very very small. The bathroom layout was good. There is not much storage space. So when entered the cruise to a small casino, most ships you enter into a grand atrium. We were not greeted by any staff. Their was no instruction on ...
The ship was gorgeous.
The Pro's
Many things to love here. The food was phenomenal. And I loved the fact that most of it was casual, without the sometimes rigid seating arrangements and times I heard some cruise lines use. I was able to eat about anytime I cared to in the complimentary dining fares. The specialty dining was by reservation which I understood. All of which I thought were ...
We chose this cruise length and destinations to avoid Spring Break crowds and see new destinations. We were two couples mid 70's and mid 60's. We chose Norwegian because of their easier dinner dress rules and we chose the Jade because of its medium size. One of us was having trouble walking without a cane before the cruise, so we rented a wheel chair just in case.
We used NCL wheel chair ...
Before our cruise, I read a lot of reviews on the Norwegian Jade. I have only been on a couple cruises, so I am not as seasoned as many are. But from all the reviews that complain of cold food, or bad food, or lack of service, I was expecting a horrible experience. But I found that for the price I paid for the cruise it was a pretty solid experience. The food was fine, sort of like Golden Corral ...
I went in the cruise to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon boarding, the onboard credit we were promised over the phone did not appear on our acct. So we we're out of luck basically. Activites were fun and entertaining. No mention of all white party in any documentation prior to sailing. Luckily, I had a white dress. Drinks were good. Miami Vice was my fav. Dining in main room was ok. Selection ...
This was a "re-do" Cruise from credit we received from a cruise we originally had booked during Thanksgiving 2018. During that cruise, our ship broke down in Puerto Rico and we stayed on the ship for two days. NCL somehow got us home safely during the busiest travel time of the year. On this cruise, it was the same itinerary and we looked forward to completing it. Overall, we had so much fun ...
First cruise as Platinum Lattitude member. It was wonderful. Great itinerary on a great ship with great staff. They all were very friendly and helpful! Welcomed us back like one of the family. Met and several spoke with Hotel Director, Vitor and F&B Director, Ross. They both answered questions and shared their experiences. We wrote a thank you note to Ross telling him how great the food was on ...
Not too much to do, shop or to see. Because of that, I went to the Jacuzzi and sauna almost every day!
Food was just ok, when you travel in the big ships you have too many options, here are so restricted, for example no real ice cream station, just the machine, just the vanilla and/or chocolate.
Cagneys always its a must, the food was awesome, as always, and the service too.
Le Bistro, ...
I chose this cruise because I wanted something quick, I've never been to Cuba and I wanted to see the newly renovated ship.
The ship looked nice, the spa was great, the Stardust looked amazing, and the seats were comfortable but definitely could have used more legroom.
The stateroom bathrooms were not touched, and I believe my shower was broken, the water was boiling no matter how I ...
