A Real Letdown

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

We booked a large suite in the Havens and there were many problems with the room including the fact that all the windows on the balcony were so badly fogged up that you could not see through them. The 2 A/C units were clogged up and not working, as well as the showers were not draining. The food in the Havens restaurant was fabulous but the other restaurants around the ship were very average. ...

Won't be taking the Bliss again

The Bliss had the itinerary we were interested in. Wasn't a good experience. At embarkation there was standing room only in the terminal, I get that. But the lady escorting Haven guests yelled (yes, yelled) at us every time she walked by to move out of the way. She said we couldn't stand in the side aisle. There was no where to go, the terminal was packed. The food in the main dining ...

Just got back from a cruise (L.A. - 2 sea days - Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo, sea day, L.A.) on the Norwegian Bliss with wife and two teenaged daughters. It was all of our third cruise on Norwegian (we'd been to Alaska and another from New Orleans to Cozumel, Roatan, Harvest Caye, Costa Maya), so we had some level of expectation. We were in two balcony staterooms on deck 15, mid-port. ...

This was my second cruise, the first was with Princess, this one was on the Norwegian Bliss. The Bliss was a pretty ship, decently clean and spacious, although there were spots that definitely showed the ships age - peeling paint in spots, chairs in restaurants with cracked seating pads (in one restaurant every single seat was beyond worn, and the majority were cracked and split). The rooms: ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

This is a big ship. Very nice. Nicely appointed and newish. Getting on and off was quick and easy. The staff everywhere were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The cabin steward did a really good job, had a lot of cabins to do but, he was inconsistent timing. Sometimes cabin was cleaned at 9 AM and other times it was still undone at 2:30 PM. He did a very good job though. The ...

I went with my son to celebrate his birthday. We have been on many cruises before, all on Carnival. Chose this cruise for its itinerary, also looked like a great ship. The ship was beautiful, cabins were nice, Stewart was great. Very disappointed in the food, all the carnival cruises I’ve taken the dining room food is so good. The dining room here was ok at best. When you are on a 15 day cruise ...

Sailing on the Bliss for a 15 day Panama Canal cruise from LA to Miami. Overall the ship is very nice--well maintained and nicely appointed. Embarkation was smooth as butter--we bought the priority embarkation option and it really took us less than 10 minutes from drop off at the port to getting our keycards and getting on the ship. Dining options are plentiful with several specialty ...

We paid extra to be in a balcony cabin so we could look out and sit outside while cruising . It took a long while to get on, and even longer to get off. Our cabin was not thoughly cleaned before we were allowed up. We found a makeup brush on the floor. Our sliding glass door, the glass balcony and the balcony rail were all caked with salt and I couldn't see through them. When sitting in a ...

I was on the norwegian bliss sailing january 7-12 on the mexican riviera itinerary. This definitely put me off ever cruising norwegian ever again. PROS: SIX AND JERSEY BOYS Cons: pretty much everything else. Overall: a vacation is still a vacation. It is what you make of it. We still had fun and did our own thing, but have decided that norwegian is definitely not for us. I have ...
