To see the Hawaiian Islands..the excursions were terrific..the people, the places were fantastic...but..
The ship is old and tiny! I paid for a balcony cabin, what would have gotten me a nice one on Princess or Celebrity Cruise LInes (where I have sailed 4 times before)..barely got one that was big enough to hold two twin beds...18"-20" from the foot of the bed to the opposite wall.
Balcony ...
We picked this cruise because we have never been to Hawaii and we wanted to see as many islands as we could. My husband doesn't like to fly and the thought of flying and changing hotels every couple days didn't sound appealing. So this cruise fit perfectly. Once to unpack and the same bed for a week.
I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. The ship seemed fine to me. Yes, some of ...
We went into this cruise with moderate expectations but were very pleased with our trip. We sailed passed the volcano at night and had incredible views of the Napoli coast with a double rainbow so close and bright you could almost touch it.
The food was overall good although food isn’t that big a deal for us.
The entertainment (shows) overall was not that good but again I am there for ...
We took this cruise eight years ago and decided to take our adult children on it for their first cruise experience.
Everything was wonderful and they enjoyed it immensely. They were very impressed with the food..our son thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. We mostly ate in the Skyline restaurant which is much nicer than going through the buffet
We were lucky that the captain decided to take ...
I chose Norwegian because other friends of mine took this exact cruise two years before. Plus my Travel Agent highly recommended it. From the moment we came aboard the ship to to the moment of our final moments before disembarking we felt special and well taken care of.
It was my 50th birthday on the 1st day we set sail. When we arrived in our cabin there were decorations (Balloons, signs) ...
The cruise was part of a package offered by NCL. We traveled as a couple. We joined the ship in Honolulu the boarding procedure/cabin allocation was very tedious and long. Once in our cabin was slightly disappointed that there were no tea coffee facilities but there was a safe and a fridge. The service of the cabin was excellent it was cleaned every day to a very high standard. We tried three of ...
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 50th Anniversary by going to Hawaii. I explored my options, and we decided on a cruise. We felt this was the best way to see more islands. I found that Norwegian's Pride of America, was the best option. We also wanted to do a vow re newel on the ship.
WE were leery, though, because of the reviews. Some of the reviews complained about service, food, ...
My wife and I went on our first Hawaii trip with 7 other family members and friends. It was fantastic! The ship was beautiful, clean, and staff was very friendly. Our balcony room was a bit small but we really didn't spend much time in it other than to sleep. The food was outstanding in the Liberty restaurant for dinner. The breakfast buffet was very crowded and rushed. Most people there were in a ...
We cruised the Hawaiian islands years ago, actually during 9/11. We've also visited the other islands individually. Seeing the islands again was the main positive highlight for us. We took this cruise with our son and his family (their first time to Hawaii) and this also made it very special.
We would not cruise with Norwegian again. As a company (not the employees) they proved they really ...
Before I start, I want to point out this is going to be a long review. So, It's my 50th Birthday, and I am about to Embark on the NCL Pride of America. Pulled out all the stops and have booked the very best cabin on the Ship, 12006 Deluxe Owners Suite with the biggest balcony ever seen. Embarkation, arrived at the port to can what only be described as slightly disorganised. Eventually found ...
