My wife and I went on our first Hawaii trip with 7 other family members and friends. It was fantastic! The ship was beautiful, clean, and staff was very friendly. We went in with an open mind, but this cruise line disappointed. Like others our trip was negatively impacted by the volcano. We understand this and do not hold NCL responsible for that. We had relatives visiting from Australia and they wanted to do this cruise. We had to make multiple calls beforehand to NCL customer service, which was abysmal. The cruise was way overpriced we felt for what we received- about $2500 per person for 7 days, no discount for former military service and no discount for being Hawaiian residents. Hi. Just off the boat Saturday 9th June. Trip to Big Island cancelled due to volcanic issues on the island. So first night spent In Honolulu which was a disappointment but fully understood. Compensated $50 port charges so make sure you settle your account after the ship leaves the last port.
