Amazing Greek and Italian cruise in the Haven

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Escape

This was our first NCL cruise and it was booked quite late. There weren't many cabins available and we seemed to get a decent price for a Haven Front Facing Penthouse Suite. My only complaint was the NCL App and website. It was awful!! We had to make numerous phone calls to check things e.g. we completed check in but the system said we were only 65% complete! I spent hours trying ...

We have been on many cruises but this was our first on Norwegian. Also the first time that we had departed from Port Canaveral. We were joined on this cruise by our 5 year old granddaughter.....and her parents! We had checked in online and been assigned a 10 AM time for the terminal and the process went relatively smoothly and we got on the ship by 11:45 and in the cabin by 1:00 and baggage ...

Good trip off standard service

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Good cabin balcony 13716 forward with longer walk to work off food. Good cabin steward kept the room clean, neat and was helpful with phone issue.. Entertainment was good, but limited number of shows. 3 shows on 2 nights for Burn the Floor. Savor had slow service several times. Food was good but did not compare to Escape in January this year. Private villa on island was great for large group ...

Fantastic ship, crew and holiday

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Escape

We chose the ship because of the destinations and facilities for all. This ship does not disappoint. Our teenager was entertained all day on the slides and in the pool and all evening in the teen zone and then in H20 partying until 1am. We had the best time during the day on ship around the pool, eating fine food and off the ship visiting beautiful countries. In the evening we relaxed by taking ...

From a first (but not last!) time cruiser...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sky

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

My wife and I took this as a "makeup" cruise for our 5 year anniversary, which was supposed to be a week aboard the Encore back in January. Unfortunately we got COVID three days before embarkation. Long story short, we were able to squeeze this shorter cruise aboard the Sky. We are first time cruisers, so keep in mind this review comes from someone who has not seen all the bells and whistles of ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Sun

After COVID had cancelled a Hawaiian cruise (3 times) and an attempt at a New England Cruise (1 time), we decided to sail to Alaska using some of our cruise credits. It is hard to go wrong with Alaska, when you want to sit and watch beautiful scenery drift by. The Club Balcony review is below...normally we have a "plain" Balcony, But the amazing thing was that this had a large bathroom with a ...

The worst experience

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

First and last experience with this company, basically they stole my money, everything is a lie. I will make sure that no family member or friend takes an NCL cruise. "poor quality italian restaurant, bad service", "the internet bad signal, difficult to communicate, this is a robbery", ''the musical shows except 1 the rest poor quality, bad scenery", ''the children jumping between the adults in ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

This was our 11th Cruise on NCL and second time on the Dawn. As always we had a great time. Every cruise is what you make of it. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. St. Petersburg was originally on the schedule but was dropped for obvious reasons. It was replaced by an overnight in Helsinki and a stop in Visby good choices. Embarkation went smooth we arrived a little earlier ...

Understaffed and subpar tours and ongoing construction

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Pride of America

Based on all our overall experiences with the ship and the NCL tours and shuttle service, we are deeply concerned with the lowered NCL standards. We all experienced some type of problems with our rooms, understaffing and all the expensive substandard tours NCL offered. Some days we had hot water in the mornings and some days we had only cold water. Every day the restaurants had long waits due ...

Dishonest sales, very crowded, ship's public spaces felt tiny

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

User Avatar

This was our fourth NCL cruise. We loved NCL Sun and Sky, two smaller ships. The public spaces felt big and open on those. Epic was a big ship that felt super-crowded and we were told that was an anomaly, so we believed our NCL agent when he said this won't feel crowded. Even further, he assured us up until a couple days before the cruise that the ship would be at no more than 70% of ...
