My wife and I went on the Escape for the Eastern Caribbean cruise. We stayed on deck 15 in a spa balcony room. The room was nicely laid out, plenty of storage and a nice balcony. Food is generally very bland. This is true for the Garden Cafe (self-service buffet) as well as the "included" restaurants. There are daily themes in the buffet such as seafood, asian or Indian, but nothing was outstanding. Worst cruise ever. The cruise started in San Juan on Sunday, February 26. The deal was supposed to include $50 off of a shore excursion and two nights of specialty dining. The shore excursions were booked. The minute that we got on the boat and the restaurants were booked before we got on, so you were not allowed to use any of your deals. This was my 8th cruise, 6 with NCL. First time on the breakaway. Worst cruise ever. Cruise was full but that's ok. However definitely not enough staff, wait time in line for a drink 20 to 40min.
