DO NOT GO ON NORWEGIAN EPIC!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This has to be the worst cruise I have ever been on in my life! First of all it is very dirty like some of the areas wasn’t clean at all and has dirt on them or stains and in our cabin room there was a straight up cockroach we found, only one luckily and we called guest services but they did nothing to help us. Another thing is that some of the workers on there are rude, specifically one bartender ...

Don't spend you money on this.

As others have said, lines, lines, and more lines. Want a drink - long line (average 20 minutes). Want to eat - good luck getting in any of the sit down restaurants - 45 minute wait the one time we went, 40 minute wait the second time. The app was about useless - not rhyme or reason to what you are "allowed to book" and what you aren't. You have to show up at least 30-40 minute before a show to ...

Overall an enjoyable cruise

We were pleasantly surprised by this cruise, based on previous reviews. The ship was clean and the service was very good. The food was adequate, you can usually find something to eat. Our cabin steward was excellent. The evening shows were not that great but there was always Music in the Lounge. We only did one tour from NCL and we would NOT recommend it. It was the hike to a waterfalls ...

Do Not go on the Jade=-An expensive mistake

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Where do I begin: Bad food, lack of dining space, high prices for everything including tips and surcharges. Two good restaurants: The buffet and Murano (with additional charges, expensive). The room (family room) had a drop down bunk bed. Had to get onto the bed sideways. Room very tight to move around; no real place to sit down! Safe inacessible for a short person (I am 4-11 1/2). ...

Went on this cruise because we had been on the Jade before and it was really fantastic.Hmmm well not any more really disappointing, the food was just awful and very repetitive, hardly any choice, there was just nothing that I could say I enjoyed.its really sad as I was really looking forward to it. All the staff seemed fed up as though they didn’t want to be there,I was not happy as the toilet ...

Huge drop in quality at NCL

Well as a huge fan of the Jade and loyal NCL cruiser I can not argue with a lot of the recent negative reviews. My travel group came with an open mind but we feel very let down by NCL. They have obviously cut back on many things however, there short sighted savings will actually cost them more as loyal customers go elsewhere. The buffet has very little choice with the same dishes repeated many ...

Great Time on NCL

My wife and I enjoyed our 11 day NCL cruise on the Jade very much. The food was excellent as was the entertainment. Every evening we went to the Stardust Theater and enjoyed a variety of entertainment from a comedian, singers, Blazing Boots Show, acrobatics, even the hypnotist was fun. We enjoyed the gym every day. The equipment was nice with plenty of room to work out as we choose. We had ...

Experience on Norwegian Getaway Feb. 6 to 16, 2024 Pros: the bar staff in the Atrium were fantastic. The service was amazing snd the kept us laughing every time. The guests for the most part were very pleasant. CONS: Adult only Hot Tubs were filled with kids the whole cruise. The food at the buffet tasted like refried leftovers from the main dining room either cold or hard and dry. In ...

Disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Not a very good experience and we don't recommend this cruise ship to anyone. Food was mediocre to below average. Buffett was chaotic, unorganized and food was either chewy and or cold. Surpisingly the pizza was very good (thin crust) but there's so much pizza you can eat. Food at O'Sheehan's wasn't very good with the burger tasting like some type of mystery meat? I requested mine to be prepared ...

So Bad We Jumped Ship Day 6

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Our first cruise, booked 2 wks prior to sailing just to visit Bermuda & see what other places we might one day revisit. Bermuda cancelled day 6. Jumped ship in Tortola to avoid 4.5 days of rough seas & gale force winds back to NYC.Had 2 Br Villa in The Haven. Unfortunately, out of about 200 people on deck 15 & 16 in The Haven, 20% were unruly, screaming, football throwing, hot tub hogging under 10 ...
