Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

The overall trip was pretty good. We've cruised before with NCL on the Escape and it was fantastic. The Ship is small and everything seemed to be well laid out. Spent most of our time mid-ship and forward. I think the reason we didn't get to everything on the ship was simply due to the number of ports visited. This was a 5 port trip, so we were busy off the ship most of the time. The ports ...

We got home on Sunday and had a wonderful trip! I can confirm first hand that the rumours are true. The Escape is a beautiful ship with a warm and friendly staff. We had one dud server, but instead of dwelling on it, we filled out many hero cards about the great ones. The good vibes started when we got word the Thursday before that our bid for an upgrade was accepted. We went from family ...

Firstly avoid Deck 14 like the plague !! We had 14148 (Spa Balcony) and it was by far the nosiest cabin I have ever stayed in - due to the main deck being above, along with ping pong tables, stairs to upper decks (external) and storing point for sun loungers in the evening - bang bang thud thud from 0600 until 2300 every night - eventually we got moved to 14210 - and a nice onboard credit - ...

We were on the famous “strong winds hit a cruise leaving New York city” that was on the news the first week of March. Many injuries endured by passengers and entertainers: bone fractures, sprains and wounds. My husband and I were in our room with our children when it happened and no one came to check to see if everyone was ok after the incident. I thought of older passengers, maybe alone in ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

I loved the boat, the free style dinning and the food was great. The staff was friendly and helpful and tried their best to go above and beyond for us even when we were a bit demanding. The announcements were kept to a minimum which is good but the first day at sea on the boat it was really confusing as to what time it was; the clocks in the elevator had the wrong time. The entertainment was ...

We chose this cruise based on advice from navy travel agent for quiet crowd and excellent facilities. We have never been on a cruise (pleasure) I have been on several Navy Cruises for extended deployments so my wife and I were looking forward to enjoying a relaxing cruise. The cabin was beautiful and staff was incredible. There was much we didn't know however we were able to chat with lots ...

This was a first time cruise and we enjoyed it very much. Ship was perfect size for first-timers. Staff and crew were very organized and efficient. Dining was very good, in the specialty restaurants. Dining package Great! Drinks, not so much, we didn't drink nearly enough. The activities were very fun, cruise directors always cheerful, helpful and full of energy. The evening shows were ...

This was a good itinerary (Harvest Caye Belize, Costa Maya Mexico, Roatan Honduras, George Town Grand Cayman) on a nice sized ship for a first cruise. This trip worked well into our schedule as it was during our school March Break so my wife was able to take a break without having to book vacation time (very difficult when you work in a school). Lots of activities on board, lots to see and do if ...

This cruise was given to us through comps from a casino. Room was small but nice. Not enough of room for our clothes for 7 days. Bunk bed attached to the wall and cot under our bed made the room and little cramped. Lucky for us we got a discount on our drink package because normal price was $99 a day per person that has to be purchased for everyone in the cabin for the whole trip! I ordered Long ...

We chose Norwegian because we have several friends who recommended it for the food, kids program and entertainment. We were very pleased overall! My daughter is celiac and the staff catered to her every desire. She was never sick and had everything she could ask for. She was even able to order her entire menu every day in advance, by choosing anything from the menu and they would ensure it was ...
