Couldn’t have been more disappointed!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Epic

There was a huge delay leaving port the first night. For some reason the water was turned off and the toilets did not flush. There was NO explanation for this. I heard other people talking about it so I know it was not just a fluke in our cabin. It was the beginning of what I learned to be very poor communication on this ship. The disembarkation process was a nightmare, and inexcusable. I ...

Norwegian Bliss a Mix of Good and Bad

The Bliss is a newer ship, but the layout is not very efficient. The elevators take forever, especially going to and from Deck 16 where the buffet and pools are. Guest Services and the Shore Excursion Desk are located in the same area where bands play and where games are played, making it impossible to hear anything. The photo folks set up camp in the middle of aisles and staircases, making for ...

First cruise ever!

So, on Saturday I arrived at the airport at 9am, I didn’t get to the ship until 2:30(ish) because the shuttles were taking forever and so many people signed up for the shuttle made the process that much longer. Once we arrived at the ship going through the check in, getting cards etc lines were long but luckily my fiancé and I carried our own bags upstairs so they let us skip the line so it ...

One and done with Norwegian

We chose this cruise to celebrate folks 50th wedding anniversary! There were 32 in our party! This is NOT a handicap accessible boat! The hallways do not allow for a wheelchair to pass through with changing carts located everywhere. The debarkation and embarkation took the entire day! This boat seems to be understaffed, and the debarkation was if it was it's maiden and final voyage. Lines, ...

Good cruise with a few minor complaints

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

Overall the Bliss is a great ship, very much in line with the Getaway or Escape. My family of 4 sailed on the Bliss the week of 3/23/19. We had two rooms as we added our 18 year old a few months after we had already booked. Our 18 and 16 year old kids had an interior room right across the hall from our room, which worked out perfectly, While their interior room was small, I thought the ...

We were on 7 day cruise. A local band from our town, Buffalo NY was on board along with 165 of us also from Buffalo to support them. There's so much to do on the ship, Bingo, Pool activities, complimentary shows/entertainment, they have an awesome sports bar, casino, spa, fitness room, lots to do for the kids! Rock climbing, water slides, tube raft slide, basketball court, ping pong tables, kids ...

First and last time with Norwegian

Our cruise was miserable from the moment we got to the port until we left the ship. It took us two hours to board the ship because the cruise before ours was taking too long to exit. Once we got on the ship we were all sent to deck 15 because none of the rooms were ready. Our ship was due to sail at 4pm but we did not leave Port until 11:15 PM. Somewhere between five and 530 there was an ...

Wonderful experience! My Mother and Father have taken both of my sister's families on cruises while I was the first born they decided I would be last for family vacation. I'm patient and that did seem fair. Then earlier in the year my Mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Terrible awful cancer that required immediate highly toxic chemo to be pumped into her 71 year old body every two weeks ...

This was our second Norwegian cruise. First was on the Getaway (which I loved mainly for the additional outdoor space on the lower decks). I was a little worried leading up to this cruise because of all the negative reviews. My parents were on the Epic for 11 days in January and had no complaints, which made me feel a lot better. There main suggestion was if there was a show you really wanted to ...

Had an awesome vacation on the Bliss. This is our 15th cruise and fourth Norwegian and have cruised with all the major cruise lines. We were on it the last week of march. The boat had lots of kids on board as it was still march break in many areas of the US. I would probably go on one of these ships at times when there would be fewer kids. The entertainment on this ship is top notch. We ...
