My husband and I were recently on the Norwegian Getaway Ship that sailed from NYC on Saturday April 13 and returned Saturday April 20, 2019. We have used Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise lines, but this was our first experience on NCL. It was awful. This was by far the worst cruise we have ever had the displeasure of sailing.

This was our first experience on a very large ship and we were attracted to the variety of offerings it had for children. We had the most EPIC vacation on the Norwegian Epic (pun totally intended). The ship had a great layout, the service was great and we really, really loved the food. The food/buffets could have been better. And should not be repeated everyday. Best thing was open bar, too forget the food. Dinner at the restaurants-worth it! Comedian was great! So funny!
