We chose this cruise as a replacement option. Our Cuba cruise was cancelled by presidential order and NCL offered us to take this cruise, instead. Although the itinerary wasn't our first choice, vacation time was set aside and this was our only alternative. NCL discounted our cruise 50% and gave us a 50% discount towards a future cruise. We booked the Norwegian Sun 3 day cruise to Bahamas as our first cruise. An experiment. Three adults (3 generations). It came with two lower beds and an upper, pull down bed . This is one of NCLs smaller ships, minimal extras, meant for short trips. Our room was a porthole oceanview, the window was larger than we expected. Shower didn't drain well, notified front desk and it was resolved immediately. Local Pub (their version of Sheehans) was not 24 hrs as we hoped but had a similar menu. At the time we booked this it was one of the newer NCL ships. It also fit our schedule. We liked the freestyle dining but didn't like always having to make a reservation and still having to wait. Also having to make reservations for all the shows and some of the shows we couldn't find where to make the reservations.

Spent the first three days on lines fixing problems, from charging us extra for drink we never ordered (even though we had a drink package) to the internet not working and their ncl app not recognizing my login, and constantly kicking me out of the app when I did manage to log into it.
