NCL booked all of our flights and transfers. They booked us a non-stop from Boston to Orlando, but our return flight stopped at JFK on the way back. There were dozens of non-stop flights from Orlando to Boston that day at a similar price - not sure why NCL picked the flight thru JFK that got us home hours 2-3 later.

We took a eastern Caribbean cruise which went to Tortolla, St Thomas and Great Stirrup Cay. As, always, we choose to stay in The Haven. We decided to cruise on the Escape since we have been on NCL a few times and thought it was pretty good. Just some background..we are seniors and have cruised 40 times..mosly on Princess...but also on Royal Carib, Celebrity, MSC, and Carnival..as well as NCL about 4 times.

This was my first cruise experience and, it will be my last. I booked as part of a group celebrating a couple's 10 year wedding anniversary. While checking in at the port, all the staff were so friendly, happy and welcoming. Unfortunately, this was not a reflection of what I would find on the ship. The escape is a nice ship, but lacking in nightclub entertainment compared to other ships that have the "Bliss lounge" we missed the band and or DJ that played good dance music every night! Food was not very good. Variety was good, but steaks were tough, chicken seemed a little under done and the omelet stations were way to busy.
