We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience Encore during her first year. She is a beautiful ship with seemingly something for most everyone. Public areas are plentiful and spacious. Teenagers can be entertained by a huge arcade, driving the heavily advertised “go-carts” on a big track located on the top deck aft, or enjoy the thrill of the water slides.

This sailing was 2 days after my wedding and it was one of the worst I have been on (this was my 10th cruise).
The food in the specialty restaurants and buffet were great.. The free dining areas (sit down).. service was slow and the food, in my opinion, was better in the buffet. We were sailing with our 3 children (6,5 and 1) everything for them to do, was an upcharge.. the go carts, laser tag. ...

We were on back to back. the first week we were in a two bedroom Haven Suite. Cannot say enough good things about our experience. Food and service in The Haven is excellent.
Only suggestions, the Haven pool is not heated and was not used all week. The Haven observation lounge does not have a bar in it and was seldom used.

I went on my first cruise ever with my wife and friends recently.
we were on board of the brand new Encore by NCL.
the ship is beautiful and huge!
I don't have a lot of complaints. One thing that bugged me was the reservation system for the Go-karts. You have to reserve ahead of time and they go fast. The waterslides were fun, especially the free-fall one!

I traveled with a group of 16 people on this cruise. It was an "Escape From Winter" cruise. I liked the size of the ship....not too large. Staff was friendly and the Captain was amazing, speaking 5 different languages to welcome everyone on the first night! Staff was courteous and kind. Activities Director was a hoot.

I chose this cruise because it was a good deal on a 5 night western Caribbean cruise. I had only sailed on Royal Caribbean and Carnival prior to this cruise and was very excited for this new trip.
