This was our 3rd time on the Dawn and wow has it changed, and not for the better. All the staff are friendly but slow. They are very hard to understand. From the beginning, when I made the reservation, there was miscommunication. After only about a month, I could not reach the Norwegian travel agent that I had booked with. I had several questions that never were answered. I had booked two cruises within two months with Norwegian and the travel agent disappeared from the face of the earth. Very disappointed.

The Dawn is showing signs of wear and tear but is in quite good condition for it’s age. Our cabin 10072 was a reasonably sized balcony cabin. I think we were a little unfortunate with the condition of the balcony as there seemed to be something housed in the roof space and it was a mess and there was also a drain there which smelt on occasions. We just enjoyed a fabulous week aboard NCL’s newest ship, the Encore. For background, this was my 14th cruise overall and fourth with NCL, having previously sailed on the Pearl, Gem and Escape. We are very experienced cruisers and in our Active 60s. This ship had the best food (even main dining room) and service of any NCL cruise we have been on (we've been on Lots)!
