We have cruised to Bermuda out of Boston for many years, and we are Platinum members, cruising toward the Platinum plus level. We love this cruise so much, we got married on the Majesty (remember that ship?). St George is as lovely as always. Tobacco beach, churches, streets, shops, wench dunking, locals....We revisit there every time. I sometimes sit on the common and imagine the Majesty docked ...
We picked this cruise because it was out of Boston which meant no air fare needed.
Getting on an off the ship was easy.
Service, entertainment an dining was amazing
Cabin location with balcony was perfect. Balcony was large enough for family to hang out on.
I would go again.
Bermuda was a beautiful island. It was easy to get around.
Staff was always very pleasant and ...
First, we are Platinum Latitudes members which means NCL is a favorite of ours. Our friends wanted to cruise to Bermuda on this exact cruise (they were a Bronze and Virgin NCL cruisers). We convinced them to share a Haven 2 BR suite with us (we took the children's BR). Best choice we ever made for similar to the cost of 2 individual balcony staterooms. We have been in the Haven (on the Jade) once ...
We really enjoyed this cruise, easy to get to and easy to park. The on board entertainment was great and we really enjoyed the shows in the theatre.
Our room was always kept neat and clean, and we never had any staff issues. They were all great and pleasant to deal with. No issues with boarding, the food was good, and the piano bar guy was hilarious. We met some very friendly people, and we ...
This is my 5th cruise with Norwegian. We usually take the cruises out of Miami which the ships are a lot bigger and offer more things to do.but decided to go out of Boston because it was an hour away drive.Although it cost twice as much to go on this cruise compared to cruises in Miami where there bigger and newer. If this is your first cruise i guess you would enjoy it but being my 5th cruise the ...
Although my husband and I are not first time cruisers, this cruise was the first for us in a few ways: our first cruise with NCL, first time for both the Flynn Cruiseport in Boston and Bermuda and first time for me traveling with mobility issues.
Overall we had an enjoyable cruise. The Gem is a lovely ship and Bermuda a wonderful destination. We had beautiful weather for the most part and calm ...
We chose the Norweigan ship from Boston to Bermuda. Getting on the ship took 40 min to check in because the desk has to check on our green card status. Our state room with a balcony was nice but for 7 days we never recieved fresh sheets and were asked to hang and reuse bathroom towels. If we wanted water in our room we had to pay $5.59. Our room steward took 3 days before he finally met us. The ...
We chose this cruise as my husband does not like to fly and Boston is convenient to us. We enjoyed the cruise. The water was choppy the first night - it always seems that way when leaving Boston.
The ship crew could not have been nicer. Anyone we encountered was helpful and had a smile. The entertainment was good and the atmosphere was very casual. We ate a lot at the Buffet and it was ...
The first thing I noticed about this ship and continued to experience was the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
This was our first time with NCL. I found that the ship was not as easy to find my way around as some Royal Carribean ships. But otherwise the different options for eating, the pool area, and lounges added a lot of variety.
My biggest complaint is the ...
This was our 24th cruise, and we went out of Boston to celebrate our anniversary and to avoid flying to Florida. We upgraded to a suite about 6 weeks before cruising and I would do that again just to take advantage of eating breakfast and lunch in their private dining rooms, Moderno and Cagney’s. Overall we had a nice cruise.
EMBARKATION:
Embarkation in Boston is always a problem. This is ...
