Epic-that it is.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

We sailed out of Barcelona on NCL Epic 7/23 for 7 nites. We were in cabin 11103, same weird bathroom design etc. Tons of storage, bed a bit too short, nice bigger balcony. My sis stayed in the solo cabin and it was awesome. I loved the layout and the irony, the bathroom in the solo cabin is private unlike the shared cabins w/ opaque glass. Great design, lots of space for studio & cool ...

Grandson chose this ship because of the waterslides, as good a reason as any! He was right, excellent facilities for children of all ages. If so inclined parents could "dump" their children in Kids Club from 9/10am to 1.30am next day! Just have to suffer them at mealtimes! My 10 year old grandson loved it, and when he was allowed out enjoyed the slides even more, particularly when most guests were ...

Great for first time cruisers

Being the first time we had tried a cruise we were delighted with the Epic and the whole experience. Balcony cabin had ample storage space and cannot fault the cleanliness of it and the whole ship. Had previously read about the small beds as they are rounded which was not a problem for us as we are not tall but could see how they would be uncomfortable for anyone who is. Embarkation at ...

A great 7 day cruise to the Western Med

As a travelling group of 9 people, with the ages from 19-78, we had to choose a cruise worked for everyone. The Epic is a big ship but never felt over crowded. One person was a single traveller and had never cruised before. We chose the Epic because of the single cabins, and the balcony cabin wasn't affordable due to the single supplement. Everyone was happy with their cabins, as we had an ...

Wanted to take our two daughters and all 6 grandkids (10 to 18) on a 'cruise of a lifetime', so chose 3 days on land in Barcelona, then a week's Mediterranean cruise aboard Norwegian EPIC. This cruise was FULL, so every site on board was packed with folks, except for the Haven class lounges, which I'd v-e-r-y highly recommend, even at the extra cost. Purchased the "Ultimate Beverage ...

We were two families traveling together on this cruise. 4 adults, and 5 teenagers (15-18). We all had a fantastic time. The ship has so many bars and restaurants. The shows were great (we saw the Cirque du Soleil, Burn the Floor Dance, and Priscilla). Dining in all restaurants were fantastic. We did pay the upcharge to eat in nicer restaurants. We enjoyed the French restaurant and Cagney's ...

What an amazing time me and my husband had. Embankment was so easy in Barcelona, we were on the ship and eating lunch in the Garden Cafe by 11:40am. Food in the buffet was brilliant, such a variety of different dishes and the cakes were brilliant. We had a lovely balcony cabin and our cabin steward, Wharlito was great. All the staff were great, so friendly and helpful, the washy, washy, happy, ...

Great first solo experience!

I chose this cruise first of all because of the solo cabins. I thought that the port of call excursions (all researched and set up by myself, and not through the ship) would be the focal point of my vacation, and I would treat the cruise as my floating hotel room. I was pleasantly surprised by the solo experience on the ship, helped along, no doubt by an enthusiastic and helpful solo cruise ...

I will never go back with Norwegian Cruise line. Most of the crew members are very rude. No customer service whatsoever. They charge for room service, They charge for any snacks in the middle of the ship. Guess service are horrible. The other cruise lines are much better at it. I'm going back to Royal Caribbean. They know how to value passengers and are willing to assist clients. I thought ...

it's all about the destination not the ship...

We chose the Norwegian Epic because it made more sense for us. The ship looked nice and the destinations were awesome. In this case if you only care about the destinations and not the ship. You're on the right ship.... The level of service was very poor. The crew are not friendly at all, they are not about customer service. The only one I can really say was awesome it was the guy that kept our ...
