Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This was my first time on Norwegian Cruise ship. I have been on two other cruises on a different cruise line and a bigger ship. I do like a bigger ship, but I did enjoy my time on this ship. I will do a break down of my experience on my cruise. The CREW: The crew members I interacted with on a daily basis were the greatest. You could tell that they enjoy working on the ship and meeting ...

Awesome Itinerary

We chose this cruise/ship for the itinerary: Barcelona, Marseille, Cannes, Florence/Pisa, Civitavecchia/Rome, Palma Majorca. We sail with NCL almost exclusively because of the Freestyle dining and all of the restaurant options. The Epic was great when we were sailing with other families and had lots of kids with us - for just adults on the Mediterranean it was a lot of wasted space. I feel that ...

7 day Spain, France, Italy cruise

Liked cruise itinerary, overall a great cruise but we decided we are not fans of such large ships. Food was very good, so was service, we have been with NCL for 7 cruises. But not enough open decks, had to be on our balcony or go to deck 15 to be on open deck. Some like for extra things like water slides, bowling etc....but we just prefer the smaller ships. We love to go to Cagney specialty ...

Excellent Sail....

This cruise was by far surprising to myself and my husband because of the size of the ship we did not anticipate so much nightlife of interest. We pre booked our dinners, spa appointments and shows. We are convinced that because of this our cruise proved quite successful. There are many bars, pubs and entertainment - different sounds, bands, performers onboard. So many shows in the pubs ...

Best boat I have been on, Epic is the appropriate name

Great itinerary, bucket list locations. Had the best time and food and entertainment. Great Beatles cover band. Great dueling pianos, found quiet places to hang out, pools were very nice. Water slides were unreal, themed restaurants where great. Large common areas can not say enough about this wonderful boat. A+. A+. Easy boarding. Ultimate drink package was a treat. Specialty meals were a great ...

8 Day cruise around the Med in the Haven suite

We took a trip on the Norwegian Epic ship, and booked the Haven suite for our honeymoon. It definitely was not worth the extra money. Below are pros and cons to the entire trip: Pros -The Haven bar areas and top decks were the redeeming quality of purchasing the suite. The bartenders were extremely nice, attentive, super friendly, and would wait on you hand and foot. The lady in the Haven ...

My wife and I have sailed on dozens of different cruises over the years - we’ve lost count of how many we’ve taken. Four this year alone. At the last minute we got a decent offer to sail on NCL Epic so we acted impulsively. Historically I’ve never particularly enjoyed very large ships finding them to be too crowded and the queues are often long. So we booked this cruise primarily because of ...

Norwegian Epic Mediterranean Cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

Our first ever cruise was amazing on this amazing ship. A 50th birthday sail away celebration. We did Segway in Rome, Florence, Marseille and Majorca. This enabled us to quickly see all the sights in each port and get photos’s of all the major attraction we couldn’t have managed on foot. The ship’s excursion to Rome was over 200 pounds so we walked to the train station 20 mins, 10 Euro and did the ...

Ship and staff are outstadning - entertainment lacking

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Epic

The Epic is a great ship, the staff was amazing and always so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great food at the specialty restaurants. Common areas are large enough that you never felt crowded. We were not impressed with the entertainment options. We knew going in that we were not interested in the Priscilla musical and we've seen enough of the Cirque shows, but we expected that we would be ...
