I had never been to Morocco or Madeira(Funchal). I had been to the Canary Islands and wanted to go back. the ports were as advertised but, the service left a lot to be desired. the buffet was not up to prior sailings, There was a hair in my cake the first day; the second day I had a piece of plastic in with my bacon. so we avaided the buffet as much is possible. in the non=specialty dining ...

THiS IS WHY I LOVE SMALL SHIPS!

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Let me tell why the NCL Spirit won my heart. The Ship may not be the collest Ship in the NCL fleet. It may not have the bells and whistles of their newer ships. What it does have, is a crew that actually is keen on making your stay the best it can be. Our Cabin 6066 was a standard 148 Sq Ft Oceanview with a large window. It had been impeccably cleaned and maintained well past it's long lived 19 ...

Our stressfull and disaster experience of being left alone, deserted by NCL excursion in Tenerife. we are a coupe "just married" for 2nd time, I am a Doctor amd my husband a computer man. we went cruising - together for the first time, on NCL spirit 13/12/17. On 18.12.17 we attended an excursion operated for NCL, no. scti1811 by Intercruises to mount Tiede. The tour left about 0820 and ...

Smaller ships in a suite is the way to cruise!

When you've done 11 cruises with NCL, you know what to expect, and this was exactly the case with this cruise. We found Embarkation was very well organised, maybe because we were in a suite or because we arrived early at the port. One of the advantages of being in a suite is that you get escorted on-board, put your hand luggage down in the suite and off to Cagney's for lunch. Our Suite ...

Booked this because I just wanted to have a break before Christmas . And also that we came to a lot of different places. We stayed in Barcelona for two nights before took a taxi tror embarkation. First there was a girl standing in the hall and asked for our paper. She said there was missing something..Not a good thing to say I travel a lot and knew that our documents was in order, so we just ...

Spirt is a lovely looking, classy ship. It is very well maintained and spotless clean through out. We had a balcony cabin, which was smaller than previous cruises, especially the toilet and balcony a very large person would struggle with toilet. We went with the new all inclusive, inc drinks upto the value of $ 15 and all service charges and it was excellent, it did not include bottles of wine ...

The timing was right for us to go on a cruise to amortize our flight from Canada before going to visit a child in Germany. Norwegian was the only one travelling at the times we wanted so we booked it. Casablanca, Canary Islands, Madeira, Malaga, And Alicante all sounded wonderful. The ship itself does not have enough common space for passengers all very crowded feeling. Used way to much space on ...

Relatively good value

We chose this cruise due to the itinerary and the reasonable cost. When arriving at the port, the queues for check in were very long and mainly outside of the terminal (and it was freezing), so we dropped our cases and requested a car through the cabify app, the cost was only 6 euro to the Ramblas, we spent a couple of hours walking around the the Xmas markets and Marina before heading back to ...

Very poor food; especially Le Bistro specialty restaurant. It was very bland as was most of the activities and entertainment. Very little going on most of the time We are able to amuse ourselves, good thing. However, we can amuse ourselves at home and the food is better. This is our second time on the Spirit. The first time it was much better. So things seemed to have changed on board ...

10 Day Cruise to Casablanca, Canary Is, Madiera, Malaga and Alicante and Barcelo

We picked this cruise because we had never been to Spain, Africa or the Islands. We also tied it into a 10 day pre-cruise tour of Spain on our own. We have cruised 10 times on a variety of smaller to mid-sized ships and prefer them to the newer floating cities. The reason for just an average rating is that there were numerous things that happened during the cruise that disappointed us ...
