Bucket List Experience

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Ship sailed where I dreamed of going! The food, ports, staff and entertainment were absolutely wonderful. The only drawback was the stateroom layout, in particular-- bathroom. Privacy when traveling extensively is paramount and the layout with only a curtain separated the facilities. Didn't enjoy that at all. Everything else was A+ The organization getting on and off ship was exceptional, well ...

We had an absolutely amazing time on this cruise! The musicians and singers were top notch and we come from a family of musicians so we know professionals when we see and hear them. The columbian band and the 3 amichees were our favourites. They not only gave a great performance but also involved the audience. Several people joined the band playing their instruments and performed with them. ...

Started with skepticism, ended on delight!

This was the first cruise vacation we took & had no references for the Norwegian! The value for money rates is what made me book & we were pretty skeptical on how it would be! It turned out to be a memorable experience. High points - great onboarding & disembarkation process, lovely room (Mini Suite with SPA), multiple dining options (even for vegetarians & Indian food) and most importantly - ...

Nice cruise and re-visit to beautiful Barcelona

I liked the 7 day western Med itinerary and additionally it was my very first visit to Rome. Enjoyed my brief taste of Rome and Napoli as you can't see everything you want to in 8 hours. About the ship. The Epic is bizarre in terms of layout and organization of venues and is the complete opposite of every other NCL ship I have sailed on. The Garden Cafe is in the stern instead of the bow, ...

I have been on several cruises primarily on smaller ships and wanted to try a larger ship. Barcelona is a favorite place of mine, so it was an easy choice to choose it as a beginning port. I was lucky to get a package that had included WiFi and drinks....the caveat is that there is also a gratuity charge up front for the drink package and the WiFi package only covered about 15 minutes per day. ...

The Food and Room

Their was no worry about coming back with a weigh gain. The food was just adequate, you would never go hungry but to say you were overwhelmingly impressed just did not happen. Even the specialty restaurants - especially the French was terrible. The last night we ate in The Manhattan my steak was so bad I did not eat it. She brought is out bananas foster that was soup and explained to me it’s ...

The reason we choose this cruise was it incorporated the Barcelona Grand Prix and other places to visit. The food is very good but at some restaurants the portions could be bigger and also served on plates not in wire baskets as where difficult to cut food up in them . The entertainment was very good. The whole of the ship was very clean and tidy, and plenty of helpful staff to help you out. The ...

My friend and I have always talked about going on a cruise together. She couldn’t have picked the most perfect cruise ship, Epic. I truly can’t express my utter gratitude to the crew of the Epic, I felt like family and was treated as such. Everyone was so heart warming, kind, helpful and everything else in between. I loved seeing their smiles, and being greeted throughout the ship. ...

The Haven, wow!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This was a family vacation for ten people staying in The Haven for the first time. The level of customer service was unmatched by any previous cruise line. The butter, Roland, and housekeeper, Buti, were ever present and accommodating when any need arose. However, the quality of food was disappointing in the common areas and specialty restaurants. The food and service in the Epic restaurant and ...
