We booked this cruise for the itinerary it was on and the water slides for my daughter and I. She was so busy, we never went down them. Sad
While the ship is huge, we never really felt crowded except at the buffet on the first afternoon.
As for the food, it was ok nothing special. Keep in mind, when in the Mediterranean, European Beef is not the same as American beef. A bit more gamy. ...

I took the identical 7 day Western Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona in May of 2015 and again 3 years later in May of 2018. This was our first cruise ever and it was a great trip. We flew into Barcelona two days early so we could readjust to the time zone and get a chance to explore. Impressions of the airport weren’t great, but we were only there on our way out the door. Loved freestyle cruising. The restaurants and food were great. We could go anytime and that worked best for us. We also chose this cruise for the length and ports we visited.
