This was my first cruise experience and, it will be my last. I booked as part of a group celebrating a couple's 10 year wedding anniversary. While checking in at the port, all the staff were so friendly, happy and welcoming. Unfortunately, this was not a reflection of what I would find on the ship. I would not recommend anyone this ship. Total waste of money and time. Here are the bullet points. I would recommend Carnival anytime.
- showers in the room are piece of junk. Too hot or too cold
- service staff rude and not compassionate at all.
- horrible dining experience. Takes 3 hours at the minimum.

The perks of the suite are totally worth it.....This was our 5th cruise, 4th with children. We stayed in Newark at Springhill suites. Very nice place to stay. We used a car service to go to the port. Embarkation was delayed but went smoothly.
