Chose this cruise based on itinerary to Key West and timing available, happened to be peak of hurricane season. Norwegian cancelled Freeport prior to cruise due to devastation, was planned to be a sea day which was fine, but no refund of port fees. Due to worries about Hurricane Humberto, Stirrup cay was cancelled as well, with another sea day, with a $4 credit per person, not sure what that was ...

The service worse than bad! No servers on Spice H2O! Stood in line for 45 minutes each day just to get a drink! No glasses picked up ash tres full and ashes everywhere! Watched crew walk right by all this and never cleaned or pick up empty glasses some for over 2 days! We got the 3 restaurant upgrade! The steaks could not be cut with a knife, spent 2 1/2 hours in steak house because no served ...

we chose this ship because 10 of our friends were going on this date. The specialty restaurants were fantastic. We booked late and got the last handicap room. My husband uses a mobility scooter and there really wasn’t a lot of room in the cabin. Also there are no shelves in the bathroom to keep toiletries handy. Maybe under the sink would be a good place to put a few small shelves. .The music by ...

Not what I expected..

The only good thing on the ship was our cabin steward. Most bartenders were horrible and we couldn’t make it to our last stop, clearly not Norwegian’s fault but they should’ve done something to compensate us because it wasn’t our fault either.. This was my first time on Norwegian and I was really hoping for a different experience, I’m not saying I won’t go on another cruise but definitely not the ...

My husband chose this ship. I wasn't wild about going on another NCL ship because the last three or four cruises we have been on NCL. I liked the Breakaway because it was more modern décor and updated. I wasn't wild about the fact that the Haven was so elitist and took up probably a fourth of the ship, but maybe the other lines have similar things. It was crowded, to be expected. The buffet ...

This was my 15th cruise on Norwegian and they continue to earn my loyalty! The Breakaway has the lovely 678 Ocean Place floor plann like Getaway and Escape. We loved the ropes course and SpiceH20. The shows were Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor with Velvet being the paid dinner theatre option. While this ship doesn't have Los Lobos and the BBQ restaurant like Bliss and Joy, Moderno and ...

The Breakaway was a pleasure to navigate. The flow from place to place was easily navigated & made sense. There are lot bars for hanging out & getting drinks. There are plenty of lounges for entertainment. Bars at the pool as well! The shows are top notch. Rock of Ages, Burn the floor, comedy magician Joseph Roehm and 3 other comedians that were so great! Additionally a dinner show and another ...

We were booked on the September 1st cruise which was canceled due to hurricane Dorian and after notifications that it was canceled, rescheduled and again canceled we spent an unexpected week in Miami. I posted a review of that experience but not sure at this time if it will be published. Anyway, this cruise was fabulous! We arrived at the port just before 11am, checked our baggage and walked into ...

This was my 1st cruise and everything and more then I thought it would be. Everyday was a new experience and I love the free style of Norwegian. You don't feel pressured to do anything and can do as little or as much as you want. There is a spot for everyone on this ship its HUGE and after 7 days still did not explore the entire ship. Absolutely amazing experience and would suggests Norwegian to ...
