I chose and booked this cruise 3 weeks prior to sailing based on the price, dates and itinerary. I was originally going to sail alone, mom getaway, but a friend decided to get in on the great price last minute. We had a great long weekend.
We parked at Park N Cruise in Merritt Island. 10 minute shuttle to Port Canaveral and saved $25. Post cruise shuttle was quick and easy too.
Check-in ...
The ship had very little entertainment. The food was terrible, it's like they serve terrible food in the hope that you will have to spend money in the specialty restaurants. We booked 4 excursions and 2 were cancelled and all other excursions were booked so we were just out of luck. Staff was rude and was not interested in making the cruise even remotely enjoyable. Biggest waste of money ever, ...
Choose because we only wanted a short cruise and Key West was the deciding factor.
All good. Great service, wonderful food. Easy on and off at all stops. Entertainment in the theater was amazing. Most talent we ever saw on the seas.
We did find ourselves searching for something interesting to do several times. The best place to be at night after shows was the Bliss lounge or the Windjammer ...
My husband and I booked this cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We have cruised before on Carnival, Celebrity and Disney. This was the first cruise since our honeymoon without the kids. My husband and I heard good things about Norwiegian and were looking forward to it. The check in experience was pleasant and quick. We sat down to wait for boarding and saw other people had maps ...
Our experience overall on this cruise was better than many of the reviews posted. We were on the ship in less than an hour from arriving at the port so the embarkation went smoothly. We had an aft-facing mini-suite which was spacious with a large bathroom, a lot of storage, and a large balcony. Our room steward, Sandro, immediately introduced himself and greeted us by name each time he saw us. ...
Buffet dinning was 1 1/2 on my scale of 1 to 5, guess services was rude and rate them at a .5, There are 2 formal dinning rooms the 4 Seasons team needs a lot work not very pleasant. The Seven Seas was 4 out 5 rating. Pleasant, competent, and you are served in a timely manner.
Our ports were Key West: Conch Train Tour is a must. Key West Is very nice. 2nd port was Great Sturrip Cay: Safety ...
I never expected this to be way below Carnival or even RCL but it was. The balcony stateroom was ok but barely so. Lots of half botched jobs and tatty carpets. Never saw the room attendants. Restaurant service especially at breakfast was awful. One morning I finished my breakfast an hour before my wife got her cold order of bacon and eggs. Food everywhere was insipid. The long waits in the ...
We are previous Norwegian cruisers, and we chose this cruise to introduce some friends to cruising. We were very happy with our cabin, 8030, and very happy with Elias, our cabin steward, and with the ship overall. Embarkation and debarkation was smooth and easy. Entertainment was good, about the same as many other ships. We were very happy with Cagney's, the specialty steakhouse. Impeccable ...
I chose this cruise because I have use three other cruise lines and I wanted to compare them all. The Sun vessel is a older and smallest ship I have ever been on. So that was the first negative thing. The crew seemed to be tired and the Stirrup Cay island is not ready for a large crowd. We arrived to the island after 1pm and our only adventure was a ride on a wave runner at 1:45 pm. Once we ...
it was a last minute get away buffet food was basically the same every meal
areas were to smokie, times of games were not real good with meal time
should have had more stuff going on for people staying on board
drink specials not posted at bar and better selection gratuity on drinks way to high for service they provided
ship was clean
music shows were good
communication getting ...
