Quiet and comfortable. It was a free upgrade - I think we got a guarantee rate and the various add ons- it was a good deal. Avoid the connecting doors if you don't need them- the TV came through perfectly. Read entire member review >>
The balcony was smaller than I thought it would be. Only 2 chairs and a small table. My husband was grumbling because we could not access any football in the cabin. Overall the room was spacious, with excellent closet/storage space . Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great, close to elevator and stair. We had two robes. Quiet, nice view from balcony. Port side cabin gave us welcome coastal views throughout the trip. Lots of storage in closet, three good-sized drawers and several cubbies. Luggage fits under bed for additional storage. Bathroom very nice sized, great shower. Very useful to have tea and coffee making facility. Garden Cafe was up two floors, easy to reach. Embarkation was quick and easy, we zoomed through it. Read entire member review >>
Very comfortable cabin with excellent steward, Amiel. He was attentive to our requests and always with a smile. Balcony average size, with two chairs and small table. Limited TV channels and repetitive movies. Wish there would be more choices especially on a two week cruise. Comfortable bed and bedding...lighting could be brighter but balcony outside light definitely a plus. Read entire member review >>
This cabin is a "hull" or "enclosed" cabin which means that it is not as open as the typical balcony. I absolutely LOVED IT!! So much so, that if I cruise on Norwegian again, I will seek out this balcony type over the traditional cabins. It provides more privacy so that you cannot look out and around into your neighbor's cabin, and you cannot see them (or they, you) reflected in the glass. Also, you cannot hear your neighbors on the balcony because it is more enclosed.
This cabin's downside: it is over the Stardust Theater which means that you can hear the thump-thump of the performances every night. If you turn in early, this is definitely NOT the cabin for you. It is noisy. Also, it is over the Promenade deck 7 which allows smoking, so if you do not abide smokers, you will find this to be a problem as well. But for privacy, you can't beat it. Very small and colors very gaudy. Had maintances work on vanity twice before they finally fixed it. Closet very small, we had to fold clothes and put on shelves. Bed so close to wall you had to crawl into bed.
We had the First room when you walked into hall from elevator but never heard any noise. Read entire member review >>
Our room was clean, it had a coffee maker, mini frig, and hair blow dryer. The view was okay but closed in with metal as it is near the life boats. The channels were few but they did show movies. Read entire member review >>
Nice side view balcony. Bed was comfortable, AC worked very well and cooled the room off fast. Really like the bathroom arrangement with three compartments for shower, sink, and toilet. Read entire member review >>
The balcony of cabin 8022 is smaller than the typical balconies, but we found it adequate. Cabin was quiet, with adequate closet space for a 7 day summer cruise, and beds were comfortable Read entire member review >>
Cabin was adequate. Bed comfortable. As ship rocked and rolled, some walls creaked. Smokers smoke from adjoining cabins came into our cabin through open balcony door, so we couldn't really enjoy being on the balcony or to leave our door open. Restroom was small, but it was ok. Being on the port side allowed us to watch most of the docking process. Some noise from occupants in next door cabins came through the walls, but we weren't there that much so it wasn't a big deal.
