Thoughtful design made the best use of every inch of space. It was bright and pleasant with T.V., teamaker, two large and comfortable single beds, settee and loads of storage space. Read entire member review >>
When there are 2 side by side rooms the left side is always better the closet door is not blocked by your bed. The stewards are all great but on this particular trip my wife forgot to lock the safe TWICE. We had over $2.000 in cash, my Rolex, cell phones, Ipad and camera. NEVER was anything ever touched. I feel very safe on NCL. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was fantastic , large room larger bathroom and lots of space. Nice balcony and always clean with towel displays and plenty of towels. Our steward Londi, was great and always smiling always asking if everything was good. We were grateful for his service and his care, especially, after we both got sick with the cold flu, that was on board so bring vitamins. Read entire member review >>
As noted in the review, the cabins were average for balcony rooms, but the balcony was probably the smallest of any line we've used. The bathroom was reasonable, and the shower somewhat more roomy than on similar ships. There was no chair in the room (nor really any room for one), which was a minor problem, and we wish the room had some drawers instead of only shelves. Read entire member review >>
Comfortable cabin with small balcony - two chairs and small table filled it up. Decent size bathroom. Nice bath products provided. Comfortable bed. Decent size flat screen TV with limited channels (BBC, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News with ship selection of TV Show, Movie and Sports - Pay Movies available. All the typical ship-oriented channels. Small mini-fridge. Hair dryer. Coffee maker (we did not use). Decent amount of storage and closet space. Very small safe. Plenty of hot water. Maintenance had to fix clogged shower drain, but OK after that. Very quiet when we sailed - people on both sides of us were quiet. Read entire member review >>
The balcony stateroom was located forward on the port side. It had plenty of space for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We saw some of the best sunsets one way and some of the best sunrises heading the other way. We were fortunate to have a very nice couple on both sides of our cabin. Cabin Steward, Royal, was excellent. Read entire member review >>
In the Haven level you enter a spacious state room with a large Jacuzzi bathtub right next to the table set with flowers, sweets and a bottle of Champagne and water cooling on ice. There is a nice coffee maker with a selection of pods available. Those are FREE. The King bed is very comfortable although pillows need upgrading from the floppy ones available. We brought the chairs in from the balcony since there were no chairs to sit around the small table. The small two seater lounger was small, soft and faced away from the TV. Cabin was tight, bathroom was great! Love the shower door instead of the curtain. Steward was great. Our relatives had a bad steward on the port side of the ship. Ours got a tip, their's did not. Read entire member review >>
Room was good - plenty of storage - everything worked well - funny that even on the 11th floor we always had salt on the railing and on the little table on the balcony!
Shower was good. Hair dryer was ok. Plenty of hangers. Read entire member review >>
Rectangular shaped balcony stateroom. Bed was comfortable. Other passengers noted the balconies on the Breakaway were much smaller than those on similar ships with other lines. I can't verify.
Our steward was very nice and tried his best to make up for NCL's blunders.
To hear the PA announcements in your cabin you have to turn to the bridge view channel. 22 I think. Otherwise you won't hear them.
No snacks in mini bar just overpriced airplane bottles of liquor and a couple of sodas. The Red Bull at the bars is cheaper than the mini bar so if you want one get it at any bar on the ship instead.
You can request an iron and board for your stateroom but housekeeping will swing by an hour later to collect. Read entire member review >>
Well located and quiet, and it has good access to stairs and elevators. Very narrow cabin and tiny balcony...but same as other balcony cabins in this category. Good storage and bathroom size is good. Shower is roomy. Cabin Steward Radwell is awesome! Read entire member review >>
Aft, port side, convenient to dining and buffet. Dockside view at Kings Wharf. Quiet. Lacks bedside power outlets. Long walk to showrooms and gangway in Bermuda. Adequate storage. Good bathroom. Lots of hot water. Bed was comfortable until last two days. Read entire member review >>
The room was very nice. I liked the location. We did not hear any noise. The bathroom was a good size. I slept on the couch, which was also a bed. It wasn't as nice as sleeping in a bed, but it was very very firm. Lots of storage. Wish that we had a better room steward who was around. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was everything we expected. Big enough for a family of four with plenty of room to move around. Sure, the balcony wasn't big, but large enough for us to sit outside and enjoy the view and cool ocean air. Our room steward, Dennis, was always cheerful and made a special point to meet the whole family and learn our names, There was never a point when we arrived/departed our room and Dennis didn't have a greeting using our name.
Our cabin location on Deck 13 was perfect. Right by the stairs, it was only two flights to the deck with all the fun and food. It's really nice to be able to pop up to Garden Cafe and get coffee in the morning or a snack in the evening. Read entire member review >>
Beautiful cabin! Very clean the bathrooms were bigger than I expected (Both cruise experiences). The staff responsible for cleaning the rooms were very pleasant and did a great job. Read entire member review >>
The bump-out balcony was great. it was at least 50% bigger than a regular balcony.
The cabin was big enough with lots of storage space and a well designed bathroom.
The decoration was plain. A lot of beige made it look like a medium price motel room more than a cruise ship cabin but it was perfectly acceptable.
It was equipped with a refrigerator and a coffee maker that was replenished daily by the steward so we could have fresh coffee without having to wait for room service. A nice touch.
The major issue was the location. It was quite far aft and fairly high up on the ship.
The music from the late night dance parties on the aft deck could be heard past midnight some nights. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was fine. Just one problem with the air conditioner. After a trip to guest services and several phone calls our air conditioner did get fixed. Only took about 4/5 hours. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was fine. Seems like our normal stewart was not there it took till 3pm to make up our room and it was never turned down at night and no towel animals. Other than that the room was fine. They had problems with the tv stations so basically when we went to our room to relax there were no channels. Read entire member review >>
The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like pieces of shredded rubber. The couch was a piece of wood with a very thin mattress, definitely not comfortable for sleeping for a week. Give me a pull out couch anytime. Read entire member review >>
Much larger than I anticipated. Spotless. The bathroom was incredibly large, beautiful shower and plenty of space for toiletries. The outside patio was perfect. Noise level outside was almost non-existent. Daily service was perfect. My best compliment goes to the dry-cleaning service. Not expensive, one-day service, better than the dry-cleaning service I use at home.
Unbelievable! Read entire member review >>
The cabin was pretty small, I think they're smaller on the newer ships, but perhaps not. The closet space is very limited... however, the bunk beds for the kids were great. Yes, they take up a lot of room but they were very comfortable for the kids. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was a nice size, and housekeeping was top notch. They kept the room tidy, provided us with our Freestyle Daily each evening, and left mints on the pillow. The balcony was fantastic, and not too small. Even the bathroom was well laid out. Read entire member review >>
Good space, largest showers I ever had; I am 5'10" at 270 lbs. Best bathroom layout I have seen so far as well.
There is a lot of storage. Luggage goes under bed, storage under couch, storage in tables, desk, etc.
The balcony is very small, fits two chairs and a miniature table.
Flat screen TV. Read entire member review >>
We had 4 people in our cabin so it was a little small but we figured that anyways. We had a balcony and it was defiantly worth the extra money. It is great to sit outside at night or in the morning. Read entire member review >>
Spacious, comfortable bed, well maintained, plenty of room in the shower. Good water pressure on the ship.
Look for the card that tells you where all of your storage is, we found ours mid week after we were struggling with the small cupboard.
Overall we were happy with the room. Read entire member review >>
Cabin itself is fine...but plumbing wasn't working properly and so the shower water didn't drain and instead flooded the whole bathroom....and the AC didn't ever get cold enough. When I called to ask for someone to fix both...the stewards mailbox was full! I had to go down to guest services. He was not apologetic or compassionate about it at all. This caused us a three hour delay in getting ready for dinner and the shows we were to attend! The cabin steward was furnished with VERY beige and very badly stained towels and our first set of lines as well had a huge 10 inch cirlce of stain! Our cabin steward didn't leave Toilet Tissue or other things like Customs form or Final bill in the room or door either. Read entire member review >>
Small but adequate al long as you aren't going to spend a lot of time there. The TV didn't work at first but was quickly fixed. The string across the shower stall was helpful for drying wet things but was not sufficient by itself. I like the idea I read here about bringing a portable clothes line to string across the balcony. We did bring a few of our own clothes pins. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was perfect for the four of us. Had no complaints about the pull down bed or couch bed. Our stateroom attendant Jeff was awesome and had the pull out put away during the day so the room didn't seem so busy. Key points about the room- overall space & storage was fine, it's a connecting room, balcony is small and it is almost all the way forward, very quiet location. Read entire member review >>
Room was very spacious for 2 people, with lots of storage space. Balcony was small but nice.
Tip: on the air conditioning, do not push the snowflake, it gets the room cold and shuts off. If you dont touch the snowflake and just turn it down it will stay running and keep the room cold. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was awfully small in comparison to other ships I have been on. Can't access the closet cause the couch was in the way. The Bed was next to the balcony and we had our two kids on the couch bed and one on the bed that came out of the ceiling. The mattress was a rock. Television service was terrible. The room is right off the elevator which saves some walking, it's close to the buffet and pool deck too. Read entire member review >>
Our balcony room felt large and the bathroom was plenty big. The shower was likely the largest we have had on any line and we always cruise Aqua Class on Celebrity. We had a cabin with the angled balcony and it provided so much more space! BEWARE THOUGH, the normal handle does not lock the balcony door like it says it does. There is a separate lock at the top of the balcony door that prevents anyone from on the balcony getting into your room. With the angled balcony, it is very easy to jump the rail from the balcony next door.
The room layout and decor were lovely. Plenty of room for a week cruise and nice storage in the room and the bathroom. Read entire member review >>
The cabin in and of itself was great. plenty of room and storage. they had problems with toilets not flushing in our whole area. all cabins and public bathrooms were not flushing for the first 3 days. that was horrible, absolutely horrible. this ship was only 2 yrs old, 2013, whats up with that?? Read entire member review >>
Two double beds and a couch for a third person (me). It was small, but adequate. Bathroom shower was tiny but designed well so you could put your foot up and reach everywhere. The room steward Dinesh was awesome! He helped us get organized, provided us with whatever towels we needed and even made sure to check on the one of us (not me!) that got seasick on our way back to NYC. Read entire member review >>
Good size for 3 adults, the toilet stank of urine through out our cruise. The theatre is under neath you and the floor vibrates until 23:00 there should be a discount for this. Read entire member review >>
I had Balcony Cabin 13870. This cabin was bright, immaculate, and very comfortable. I truly enjoyed my balcony. My Cabin Steward, Junelle was fantastic, and Cruz Ton, the Cabin Steward Supervisor was a pleasure to deal with. Read entire member review >>
Typical layout for balcony. Close to aft stairway and directly under the buffet. We were concerned about noise due to location but it was totally a non issue. A couple of nights we heard the bass from Spice H2o, but it was not loud or a problem. There is an overhang (from the buffet), it provided nice coverage and protection from rain and also from the sun. Serious sun lovers might not be happy with that. Read entire member review >>
The balcony cabin had plenty of storage. The bathroom is ample in size. The balcony is a bit smaller than other ships, yet it fit 2 chairs & a small table, more than adequate for our needs. Saw 3 rainbows from our balcony, sunsets & sunrises. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. Read entire member review >>
Travelling alone my cabin was all I needed...but it had a couch that becomes a bed and it was not comfortable for sitting and watching TV and there were no chairs...there was a sort of stool that doubled as a coffee table. Bathroom was all you could need with lots of shelf space for stuff. Wi-Fi in room...great...Balcony for two...small but all I needed. Would hold up to four passengers with a closet that was full with my clothing so I have no idea how four would manage. Endless repeating T.V. films and shows...every news chanel so they could spend a few bucks on some more D.V.D's. Read entire member review >>
Nice room - comfortable - can hear through the walls - bathroom a little bigger - nice shower - finally put a door on the shower so that water does not go everywhere. Very disappointed that there are no drawers in this room anywhere. Very little room between the bed and the closet - sit on the bed to get in the closet - will make it easier. Quiet room. Roomy enough for 2 people. Heard the balcony was small which it is but not really a concern. Would stay in that room again. We had our 2 teenage boys in an inside immediately across from us (13425) and it was excellent access. Read entire member review >>
On our past cruises we have always had inside rooms and for this cruise we got upgraded to a balcony and it was AMAZING. We will never go back to an inside room. It was like having my own private deck where i didn't have to hassle with anyone else. I definitely suggest it. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was great. Lots of room in the bathroom. The bed was comfy. Lots of storage space. We loved, loved, loved the balcony. Our cabin was forward, not aft so I am not sure if I have selected the correct Cabin Categoy above. Can not think of any improvements, it was perfect for the two of us. Read entire member review >>
Loved the location on the forward deck, very quiet. The room size was more the adequate, with lots of great storage. There is a coffeemaker ,and a little fridge. The bathroom and shower excellent! Read entire member review >>
Cabin was very quiet. Balcony is small but OK for sitting and reading. Bathroom is compact but not too small, there is enough room for toiletries on the shelves. Cabin had a queen bed and large sofa. Flat screen TV was 32" and is interactive so you can check your account, make reservations for dinner, tours, shows etc. Good TV channel selection. Hairdryer is permanently plugged in under vanity with a holder under the vanity to keep it out of the way when not being used -- good idea. There is a clever footstool in the room that provides storage space and can be used as a seat or if you put on the wooden "cap" -- it can serve as a table. Lighting in room is very good, adequate storage space and closet space. Room has a coffeemaker and a refrigerator. Could have done without the coffeemaker but I guess some people have to have one. Entire ship is WiFI including the cabins so all electronics work -- there is a fee of course but still -- great convenience to be able to use a laptop or tablet in the cabin. 13140-Balcony BC cabin. Very nice, closer to front of ship. Port side so when docked saw the Royal Naval Dockyard as our view which was perfect. Didn't like that it was in a long hallway and the teenagers in our hallway (tons of them for a sweet sixteen) were loud. Would prefer a smaller hallway if one existed. 13609-Inside cabin, smaller, perfect for two teenagers, in a quiet area and more central to ship. Would not try to out three people in either cabin unless one was a smaller child. Read entire member review >>
11134 balcony and 11421 inside were both quiet though 11134 has a corridor door to the studio units right across the hall. Initially the door slammed and was a problem but after it was adjusted I didn't hear a thing. Read entire member review >>
