| Silversea Unveils Extended Pre- & Post-Cruise Packages |
Silversea Cruises, which is carving a niche for itself in creating programs that encourage passengers to take advantage of flexible options, has announced the newest prong in that campaign. In its new "Silver Sights" program, the line is adding an expanded pre- and post- cruise land option package, a three-night stay in a city of embarkation or disembarkation -- and has thrown in some extras as well.
One nice touch element of Silver Sights is value-added extras, such as theater tickets in London or half day city tours. The program, available in 30 cities, also features a Silversea in-hotel concierge for the entire stay.
Interestingly, Silver Sights even offers a bit of a bargain as the package's hotel rates are actually cheaper than its standard one night pre- and post-cruise land option. The company will continue to offer the shorter option as well. | |
